Our old charger died. I was glad to see it go as the cord was a disaster to deal with. It coiled up so tight. We would uncoil/untangle it every few weeks and within a couple days it was all tightly coiled up again. This charger is working great. The cord does not tangle and coil. UPDATE: After just a few months has started dying after charging the car for a very short time. Very frustrating but it seems that this has happened to others much sooner. My EV came with a 240v charging unit and an adapter to convert it to a 110v one, only trouble was it couldn't fit the outside wall outlet in the carport I park in. This dedicated 110v charger alleviates that problem and comes with hanger for cable and a wall plug to keep the car connector neatly out of the way. A month after buying it went into error state, it was the first hot day of the year It seems to throttle charging and then goes into an error state. Had to run to a charging station before driving to work to be able to get enough charge to get there and back and went back to using my car makers 240 volt unit with an adapter for 110v use. Looks like it would have been cheaper to install 30 or 50 amp outlet than buy this unit. ... show more

Super easy to use. Literally, plug it in and charge. However, it broke less than a year in. Their customer service was quick to send a replacement after testing whether it was me, my outlet or the product. All good with the replacement so far.

The media could not be loaded. Well it really does take a very long time to charge with this cord. I'd say it's much better for hybrid batteries. But for its convenience and the bag and everything about it I would say that it's worth it as an emergency charger because you really need one of those in your car. I quite like it even if it's really slow so 10 out of 10! ... show more
