They are great bulbs. I ordered the red and white. The white are a very cool white that looks almost blue. I am not fond of it, I ordered the red and green as a replacement. May use the red & white outside or somewhere else.

These are very inexpensive twinkle lights and I knew that when I bought them. The quality control wasn’t as good as I would expect had I chosen to spend more. Out of 2 sets (100 lights per set) there were 5 sockets that did not have a bulb and 4 bulbs that didn’t work, so just under a 5% failure rate, but as the lights were intended for a one time event and the better quality ones cost a chunk more than 5% over these, I was satisfied with what I got. ... show more

i loved these lights looked awesome hanging on my wall ,very purple and bright the only reason i did not give 5 stars is . i have not used these lights that much maybe 100 hours , and i had a portion of the lights go out on one string . and if one goes out about 25 lights go out with them and to get one out of the socket is very difficult to get out with out breaking the outer glass and just by looking at the light to see if it is broken or darker to see if it is bad is impossible .well to me it was, i finally used pliers to get the bulbs out of the socket but still ended up breaking two more bulbs and i did not have but the two that comes with the package . tried changing fusses before i started changing bulbs . so i could rule the fusses out .so never did get that string going again .my only complaint would be that if a bulb goes out , that just that bulb goes out and not 25 more goes out with it . because it is a pain to change one bulb at a time to find the bad one. i probably will buy more and buy one just for the replacement bulbs . ... show more

I couldn't find the "cool White" LED lights in any local store, and I was pretty desperate as I needed the lights before Thanksgiving. I was so pleased to get these lights so quickly, and they were a perfect match to the lights already on the tree! But one strand had a section that didn't light up and there were light bulbs missing.
