I have waited several weeks before writing a review for MD Hearing Aid Volt. After several weeks, I have been extremely pleased with this product. I have slight hearing loss in one ear and moderate loss in the other. I had purchased a hearing amplifier before hearing aids became available over the counter. From the moment I put the MD hearing aids on I realized what an amazing difference there was. I was hearing things that I didn't even know that I was missing. The hearing aids are well made and the controls are easy to master and provide a wide range of volume and programs for various situations. Also, the batteries are rechargeable and that is a real plus. After experimenting with several different types of ear pieces I found one that works perfectly for me. I have been really pleased with these hearing aids and highly recommend them. Great over the counter hearing aid at a great price point. I am hearing things better than I have in years.

This company should be ashamed of itself. If I worked for this company, I would quit. ......... The thing pooped out after 12 hours, and the sound quality was full of static. The crooks said the regular price for the "Volt" was $2000 but they had it on sale for $400 .......... Not only that, I sent it back after two days, and now the lousy company doesn't want to give me back my money. Yeah, I bought it through Amazon, but the lousy company put a hold on returning my money. --- DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY

These hearing aids are easy to set up and use, but the sound quality is lacking. No matter which setting I used, they were prone to feedback and whistling, especially if the volume was set over 1 1/2. Mode 4 helped to reduce side noises somewhat; modes 1-3 seemed to vary gain sensitivity, without any frequency modulation. Called MD Hearing; they were polite, but once notified it was an Amazon purchase, advised me that I needed to use Amazon's 30 day free return policy to get a refund (instead of MD Hearings 45 day free return guarantee.) Noted the issues I had with the hearing aids and Amazon provided for a free refund. Not sure what would happen if I missed Amazon's 30 day return window?

Just received my pair of volt adhering aids and they are absolutely wonderful. Great quality for a very fair price. It is so nice to hear all that I have been missing.

I dislike the fact they will not stay in my ears. They are of no value if they are not in my ears 100% of the time I’m wearing them.

These are junk. I had a pair of MD hearing aids that failed and were $200 cheaper. I tried to by another pair but they were discontinued. I bought these as replacements. These are horrible. They have feedback. You can't tune them to hear without getting constant ringing. They are junk. Don't waste your money like I did.

I purchased the MD Volt because of the rechargeable feature compared to the battery type OTE type I had been using. I had problems with squelching feedback from the first time I put them on. Called Their CS. Their techs sent replacement domes of different sizes twice and suggested several options to address the issue to include reverting back to soft low tech domes but the squelching continued although diminished in intensity. Nicole was patient in working the options but we couldn't solve the issue. I have researched other reviews here and see there is high variability, they work for some and not for others. I guess I was one of the others. I really tried to make these work
