We like this EV charger, simple setup, variable current, works perfectly with Smart Life app. As soon as you connect the charger to the power, app deducts it. Very convenient to control everything remotely. Make sure to press the delivery plug to the car tightly, otherwise car or the charger may not deduct the connection properly. I got the 16amp version, using it on standard 110v wall socket with matching rating. Also using it 240v 16amp configuration, remember you can control the amps through app only after connecting to the car. You may be able to change the amps manually before connecting to the car. ... show more

    • 32 Amp Version. Cord lengths are a bit shorter than advertised.
This review is only for the 32-Amp version. I used it 5 times so far (about 40 hours in total). I ran it at 13A, 24A, and 32A settings, and it worked properly on each. Cons: Both power cords were a bit shorter than advertised. This created a problem for me, so I'm 'on the fence' with returning/exchanging. Free Advice: Accurately measure the cord lengths you need, and then verify that the advertised lengths *exceed* what you need! And yes - I surprised myself when I got an EV, but the deal was too good to pass up. I'm keeping a gasoline car for inter-state trips, though. ... show more

Works okay. However, on my unit the plastic face plate keeps falling off. It's only held on the unit with a sticky backing which is apparently too weak. I've tried pressing it back on several times an it holds for about a day and then I'll find it on the garage floor again. Too bad, because this seemed like a well designed charger. Now, I'm not so sure. I like that it can be plugged into either 120 or 240 Volts input and you can control the amount of Amps the charger will allow to be delivered to the vehicle. It also monitors the temperature at the main input and the plug at the vehicle and will lower the power to keep the charger from overheating. But, when the manufacturer can't even get a plastic plate to stick on the unit? Makes me wonder about the quality and how long this unit will last. ... show more

Just got this, hooked it up and viola! It started charging at 110 12 amps. It hooked up to the tuya app instantly and gave me control through the app. Very cool. Very inexpensive. Hope it lasts.

This product was worthing for about 4 months and stopped working. I tried to go through saurian but they said I must go through this company because I bought it through them on Amazon. So I need somebody to reach back out with a refund or replacement because saurian is saying I'm still within the manufacturers warranty. Please help me! ... show more

    • Faceplate falling off.

The faceplate keeps falling off. The adhesive is failing. The charger still works to charge my ev, and the screen has lots of useful data. But I'm concerned about it's long term reliability and build quality if the glue on the face plate is already failing after a few days of use.
