Not a hearing aid! Horrible product for the amount of money I paid. I guess it will be worth it that I threw money away if someone is deterred from buying this junk. Stated in product info it is a hearing aid when it is clearly not! 1 week after getting them one "aid" began squealing. I can't use it to hear a thing. what a waste of money! Charger doesn't charge them unless I set it on a counter delicately. What use is the charger if it doesn't charge on the go? JUNK!! I will never waste that kind of money again on this brand. I might as well have flushed it down the toilet.

These state in the Amazon listing that they are a hearing aid, but when you get the package the information booklet clearly says hearing amplifier. I saw the sellers answer to someone who asked if it was an amplifier or a hearing aid, and the answer was a bit confusing. So I took a chance on these. As soon as you try them on it's clear there is no noise canceling or adjustment of various types of sound's levels like an actual hearing aid has. I've tried two other otc hearing aids, the other two were actual hearing aids for around $200 dollars. I expected an $800 model to have actual hearing aid tech in it, not be an amplifier, and have better tech than the other two. In a room wiht nothing but a light on and the fridge, on the first setting I could hear the fridge and light loud, and a dog outside about 100ft away from the house moderately. These weren't as loud as the $200 in ear hearing aid model I tried, also on it's lowest setting. I have mild to moderate hearing loss in both upper and lower range frequencies. If you need just a straight up amplifier for all frequencies, with no noise canceling these might work. They are small and fit nicely in the ear canal. I easily noticed when one popped out, and being black it was easy to find. They're not as noticeable from the front as other devices, so you could be discreet with them on if that's important to you. Anybody looking at you from the side will see them, unless your hair covers your ears. They're easy to get out with the plastic antennas. You have to adjust the sound dial before you put them in your ear, and there's no way to adjust them on the go. The charging was fast, and I liked the case being slim and pocket sized acting like a charging bank.

First off the ear piece quality is that of cheap garbage, second the sound quality is so terrifically terrible it makes regular bad hearing seem amazing... As far as the noise cancellation seems to be non existent extra advertising to real in a dumb dumb like myself. Lastly and probably the most important I've only sample sized it on about 5 elders in my family, any all had terrifically terrible things to say about the fitting in the ear even with the different size liners all are compact trash.... My thoughts is if this product was a 40 dollar value : this product would be perfect for that price range...!

The product description emphasized "hearing aids", this product is really an amplifier. They also are an uncomfortable fit in the ear. Now the return policy. I attempted to return them, but the unstated policy as I found out was 30 days. I got on Amazon at day 31, and was informed I could not make the return. Now I see on Amazon the product is no longer available. Beware about the return of any product, you may get trapped like me.

Replacement domes don't seem to be readily available. I'll buy cheaper ones next time if they're going to be disposable.
