This ceiling fan is smaller than I expected, so at first I thought it might not move much air. But it actually does a great job. Despite the compact size, it provides good airflow and works well in the room. The light is exactly what I needed and I like that it offers different color temperatures and brightness levels, so you can adjust it depending on the time of day. The only slightly confusing part at the beginning was setting up the app. The instructions say to turn it off, and I initially thought that meant using the remote, but it actually refers to the wall switch. Once I figured that out, setup was easy. I ended up buying two of these and both have worked great so far. For the price, it’s a very good value, and I’ll probably buy more for the other rooms in the house. ... show more

I purchased this for my laundry room because it only had a fluorescent light, and when doing laundry I hang a lot of my clothes to dry so I wanted a fan. If I purchased a standard fan with light it was not enough light so this was great because it has an LED light which is super bright and perfect for my needs. It is also small and compact for a small room which was what I needed. While the fan isn't very large, therefore not putting out as "wide" of an area as the standard ceiling fans, it REALLY cranks out the air for a little guy!! Therefore it does the job for me because I am only using it to move the air so my clothes dry a little quicker. The change of lighting modes (with remote) is very cool too... The ONLY downside is that I wish it would stay in the same mode that I turned it off at; it does not, it defaults back to the brightest mode (daylight) which is probably a good thing because it gives out the most light. It has a nite light mode which is pretty cool to. All in all, I think this is a great little fixture and I would definitely suggest it for any small area.     • Good Fan But not easy to put together

The 24 inch fan comes in multiple pieces. The instructions seemed to be from another fan and were not much help. If replacing, i recommend that you put the new fan together before taking the existing one down. There are a lot of thing that can go wrong and leave you without a fan. The light is in four that need to be fit together with small screws. It is kind of tricky getting them to fit together and takes some patience and finesse. Must use caution not to damage the wires that are threaded through the support arms. Would be much easier to assemble with two people. One to holed the parts together and one to install the screws. The wires and protective cover need to be tucked into place on the light ring end. They are tight but will fit. The threads on mine were powder coated and were hard to get the nuts started. Recommend that you run the nuts on the threads before you installing them to the fan housing. If you do not do this, it is hard if not impossible to thread them in place. Once the ring is attached to the fan, it is time to carefully plug the little cords into the controller. Try to mount the controller to one side of the fan housing. I made the mistake of centering it and it made it hard to assemble the fan to the light bracket. And last but not least, put the fan on last, it makes it much easier to tighten the screws to mounting bracket. Note: the fan nut is reversed threads. Left to tighten right to loosen. ... show more
