If you want an attractive, inexpensive moka pot that is not too expensive, get this. Tip: for best performance, get coffee ground a little finer than medium (which is what most grocery store coffee is) but not quite so fine as espresso. This product is very eye appealing but doesn’t hold up for long. This is my second one. The first one the seal would leak after so many uses. The second one I also have leak an the wooden knob on top has fallen off. Definitely not a product for long term use. Would love find a refund for both of them w/o having to return them. My Bialetti 6 blew a gasket after 2 years. Gasket kits were ~25% of this moka pot, so I bought it instead. Corrections for other reviews: This pot is a _little_ smaller than my Bialetti 6, maybe 15% less volume. Brewing finished in the same time as my Bialetti 6. Maybe a little faster. Yes, the handle is plastic... Put it off to the side, not over the burner. Same as all moka pots. The spout wasn't any more spill-prone than my Bialetti 6. You have to pour slowly with both. The review with a poorly constructed filter doesn't match my unit. The filter and cupamajig seen to be of similar quality to my Bialetti 6. Update: I replaced the gasket in my Bialetti 6 SV be did a side by side comparison. This one's brewed in a about one minute less on a shared burner. Coffee was slightly weaker from this one, so I'll probably just use my Bialetti 6 and give this one away. Knocking off one star for the he weaker taste. ... show more

Update: it was absolutely damaged. Returned it to Amazon and got a replacement and the new one works as intend, no dent in the strainer cup. If you get one that has a dent send it back. It should have a perfect fitting seal around the water base. (Initial review) Used it the very first time and it spewed water out of the middle (where it screws on) and this is the only reason I can find. Initially I thought okay, its dented so you can get it out. But after looking at it and looking at the pictures, looking at reviews, I think this is just damaged and causes the pot to not work correctly. I've only used it once and it poured water down into my burner. Now, maybe I put too much water? I'm going to test it again. But after assessing and seeing the damage, I think this is why. Hopefully I hear from the provider on this. ... show more

Like others said, easy to clean. Attractive. Everything fits well. I like the nylon gasket better than Bialetti’s rubber gasket which has to be replaced with repeated use. However, this coffee maker holds less fluid than my 6 cup Bialetti. I must measure coffee accordingly. It only holds 4 though it’s rated 6. I wish it were made in Italy rather than China. ... show more
