I was pleasantly surprised at how great value this fan is for under $100. Installation was easy, I'm no handy-man and took me longer than other reviews mentioned but it was easy and straight forward. I also did not have to use any of the balance weights which was the biggest surprise of the fan. I was expecting some sort of wobble at this price point. Looks pretty good given this is under $100. I ordered the brushed nickel and chose to use the walnut colored side of the blades. The maple seems a little bit odd to me to pair with the brushed nickel. The light is good enough. I might buy a different light bulb than the one that came with it but that is more of a personal preference. I do appreciate that it came with a light bulb. The fan is what you would expect for a 52" fan. Airflow is adequate and the only slight downside is that it does emit a slight hum from the motor. No big deal for now since it's Day 1 but I can see how this might get worse as the fan ages. Overall I am highly satisfied given the price point. ... show more

Our bedroom did not have a fan. It only had a light and it gets warm. After searching and reading through lots of reviews on various products I decided to go with this product due to its minimalistic design and low cost. It took me about 20 minutes to install this by myself with no experience. Once installed the fan and light was tested. The fan has three speeds all of which are actually quite quiet. It has zero vibrations and works perfectly. We ended up going to the middle speed because the high speed just pushed out so much air that we were actually cold. Great product, great price.
