I was on the fence about buying this due to some of the mixed reviews. I have a 42 inch Airens riding mower with two blades that needed to be replaced. I decided to buy this jack, and found it easy enough to assemble (not sure about some of the people saying it was difficult to assemble - there are about 6 super easy steps to follow) because I had it assembled in less than 10 minutes. I was able to then easily lift my mower and change the blades in a matter of minutes. Something that would have taken significantly longer if I had removed the mower deck. It seems sturdy enough that I wasn't concerned about it breaking or falling down while I was using it. This is one of those things that I'll rarely use, but when I do need to get under the mower, I'll be very glad that I have this. If you want to safely get under your mower (vs using blocks or something far less safe), then this is a safe purchase.

Arrived a day early. Assembly is straight forward and took very little time. Instructions leave something to be desired. The lift works very well, raised my Craftsman tractor easily. Will make cleaning the underside of the deck much easier. Good product, worth the price.

Only 4 stars; does not come with an assembly manual, just a user manual. It was able to lift my John Deere. The way to make it wider would be to drill holes a few inches from existing holes, and you can make it adjustable. The hand crank would take forever to lift, best to use a drill, lifts and lowers with ease. I would buy again.
