I needed to get under my mower to do some mower under-deck maintenance - cleaning and blade replacement. I didn't want to go through the hassle of taking the mower unit off again. Based on the reviews, I was expecting to give this 4 Stars, but having used it a couple times, I am going to give it 5 stars. I'm pleasantly surprised! As other reviews pointed out, the cardboard box the unit came in is a bit too thin for the product. One part of the unit had punched a hole through the box. It isn't boxed the best, but once out of the box, the unit itself had no damage at all. The unit is a decent quality square tubular steel, with a solid steel jack screw assembly. The welding quality is just fair in appearance, but it still makes for a solid product. The red powder coat paint job is done really well. The hand crank that comes with it works well, but to turn the jack screw enough times to raise the tractor takes a long time and a lot of turns! HOWEVER, they also include an attachment for a power drill driver to attach to. I just swapped the hand crank out for that and the drill driver raises and lowers the tractor with hardly any effort at all. (You can see my green driver on top of the jack screw in the second photo here.) I have only raised the mower by the two large rear wheels. (It holds 2 of the tractor's 4 wheels - front or back.) I think it will work okay by raising it by the smaller front wheels, too, but not certain. As an added safety measure, I placed a 24" long 2x4 vertically under the mower to catch it in case my new tractor lift gave way, but the lift was very stable throughout. It had no problem at all handling the lawn tractor. I'm glad I bought this. For the price, compared to other mower/tractor jacks, this is a great value, I believe!

Needed to change the blades on our riding tractor. This worked as expected. I must say it was a little shakey and not as sturdy as I had thought but not like I felt unsafe. Assembly was a little confusing but figured it out.

Great product - recommended. Go ahead and buy. Delivery: When I ordered it- it said that it will come in two weeks, but it came only in 5-6 days. So, very happy about the quick delivery by fedex. Assembly: It takes about 5 to 10 minutes of lazy assembly specially if you keep amazon's product photo in front of you. It is mostly common sense to assemble. But, there are clear instruction sheet included for the "assembly challenged". Only a handful (5 nuts to connect middle rods to be tightened) - so expect about 10 minutes or less. You would need a wrench and a philips screw driver. So great. Using it: Quite easy to slide the front wheel. I sprayed some garage door lubricant on the load bearing long threaded shaft. It takes just a few seconds (10-15 secs) to bring it up and down manually. I was pleasantly surprised that it went up and down was very smoothly with very little to no power needed. With a power drill attachment, it may even reduce that to a few seconds - I didn't feel a need of this, and unlikely to use it. It is quite light-weight and easy to move around, and store. You can sharpen your blade and in 10-15 minutes with this jack. Beats hours needed to take moving deck out, going down at floor level and reconnecting. Recommended.

This is relatively cheap lawn mover lift that will tilt your mower so as to check or change the blades. There are a number of these type lifts for purchases and I have not tried any other than this one. First let me state that using this type lift is far better than using some combination of winches, cinderblocks, and 2x4s. The quality of the product is cheap but sufficient. Assembly instructions are okay, but it is mainly common sense and so is how to use it. I have used the hand tool to lift a lawn tractor with 46 inch deck so it is capable. I have not used a power drill because I could not find a socket that would properly fix. Again this is a cheap product, but sufficient to get the job done. This product is something that I could see using once or twice per year and then folding it up and putting it out of the way. In this context it is a functional product, it is easy to use, it made my changing of blades easier and faster.

I have a Troy Bilt 42in. riding mower and needed this for 2 reasons; 1) make it easier to clean the mower after each cut, and 2) ease of removing and replacing blades, first to add mulching blades (bought the kit on Amazon, fit perfect, great price) then whenever I need to remove and sharpen the blades. Although I was a little skeptical at first, this worked out great! Love the attachment so that I can use my cordless drill, makes it super easy to raise and lower. Folds up and stores away nice, and seems like it will last. Used it 5 or 6 times over the last few months, and I do add a jack stand under the frame and a wheel block on the front tire when raised out of an abundance of caution, as I would with any product that jacks up a heavy machine, not because I'm worried specifically that this product will fail.

This is an awesome product for people that want to take care of their lawn mowers maintenance. It has the parts to both do it by hand and use a drill to raise and lower the mower. It is very stable I have not had any issues with it going up or down or staying in position period I use this every time after I mow my lawns to clear the grass from underneath the lower period
