I bought this to tame the weeds that grow on our rock driveway. That part of it works amazingly well, better than I anticipated. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1. Without a drag behind it, it will leave "furrows" in your yard / driveway. I attached a chain that I drag behind it, and that works really well 2. It is heavy, and very awkward to move, and you would NOT want to drag this across good grass to park it. It is really too heavy, though, to easily carry from one place to another ... show more

    • It's better than you think
I arrives in one box but it starts as 3 pieces. This made it possible for me (a woman over 65) to lay it out and hook it together. I pushed a bolt through the hole in the back of my riding lawn mower and hung the loop over it. I am dragging out roadway and trails through my property. As advertised it pull the old gravel right up to the top. But I don't have every access already graveled and it will take a while to drag those areas to look like I want. I have many forest trails and if I avoid the large roots, it scrapea cones and debris right up. I also have a lot of area I've covered in chips from arborists branch grinding. I spread them with the tractor but am better able to level them out with this harrow. It gets loaded up with twigs and small branches. I stop, unhook it, and pull it back over itself until it is upside down and toss out all the bits. I LOVE this harrow. I love that I can still get it to come apart into 3 segments easily so I can manage the weight of it. ... show more

Bought this to drag around my property and level out some heaves in the ground. Am pleasantly surprised how much heft this has and the rigidity of the tow ring. Pulled around with a Honda 350 ATV with ease. If the ground is moist black clay, like mine, be sure to wait a week after a rain. Otherwise the soil will clump up on each spine and render the tool useless until you removed the clumps. Was able to pull dirt by grab it the clumps and give a twist and pull off the splines. ... show more
