So I didn't use this on a zero-turn. Needed a strong hitch point to tow a 22' ponton trailer with my JD534. Attached to the suitcase weight bracket (weights removed of course) perfectly using the OEM holes-no drilling required. This application moved the hitch up about 5-6 inches, which is perfect and removes the tongue weight from the thin metal stock hitch bracket (which bent-see picture). I have to say that I was going to buy a more expensive bracket because I thought this one would be made from lighter gauge steel, but this one pretty thick. And it came with a ball, so that was a nice plus. Good value. ... show more

Pre drilled holes did not line up with the advertised tractor's holes. Had to drill new holes into the tractor frame for this to fit. While it does indicate the spec for the hole spacing It also advertised to fit my tractor which is what I went by Since I was in a hurry. This is a thick gauge metal. Nice that it comes with hardware but I upgraded mine. I had to enlarge my holes on the back of my zero turn to accept 3/8” bolts. Easy mod. I reused the factory plate as a stiffener on the backside. I like that it also comes with ball too.
