Hitched up behind a tractor, the lawn sweeper brushes up leaves, grass, and even fine straw into a spacious hopper in 42-inch wide swathes. Easy to use and requiring minimal maintenance, the lawn sweeper eliminates most debris with one pass.The lawn sweeper picks up remnants of yard work with the adjustable and replaceable brushes no more than a 1/2-inch into the grass. This sweeper has a sweep of 42”. The adjustable hopper provides up to 12 cubic feet for waste and collapses flat for compact storage. A windscreen prevents wind gusts from blowing swept debris and leaves back onto the ground. A rope handle on the sweeper allows users to dump contents from the tractor seat. The sweeper rides on two 11” x 2.5” semi-pneumatic tires. A hitch pin is included for quick tractor hook-up. This is a great product and a huge timesaver. Putting it together is however a daunting task. The company has done everything they can do with detailed instructions and a video. I have every tool imaginable and mechanically inclined family members and it took 3 hours to complete it. If you are a who needs instructions person, don't even think about it, you will need therapy afterwards. One thing the company did was include every fastener you will need, and not one single more. If you have even a washer left over, you messed up. We have now used it to sweep about 5 acres of lawns and it works exactly as advertised. One thing to remember about lawn sweepers, they only go forwards, backing it up is a no-no. ... show more

It took me about two hours to assemble this item. The intructions are quite straightforward but it does take time to get it all together. This isn't a half hour project. Every nut and bolt was in the bag of hardware which always makes for a pleasant experience. I hitched it up to my Sears garden tractor and took it for a spin around my one acre lot. It picked up leaves and grass like a dream... much much better than those vacuum pickups. I did my entire acre with room to spare in the bagger. I merely pulled on the emptying rope and voila! To those people here who complain about quality, I can only say it's a great value for the money. It is well constructed and perfectly suited for the job. For those who complain that it doesn't do a good job, all I can say is that you probably should check your assembly. It's virtually impossible for it not to work properly if you assembled it correctly. And to Amazon, I can say another perfect transaction. I have bought everything from books to flat screen tv from Amazon and have always been totally pleased. If only Sears and HomeDepot could perform the way these guys do. On a positive note, it arrived within 3 days. I am the type of person who doesn't need to read directions a lot. When I have to, its' a bad sign. The assembly of this unit is not the easiest. Since I don't put them together every day, it all looked Greek to me. First, the red and black marks on the brushes. They are marked clearly. What isn't is where they go. Right side, left side. Wouldn't it be just as easy, since they are marking things, to mark the drive shaft as well to match the colors? When the unit is upside down, which is the right or left side? What side to look at it from, the front or back? After several attempts of assembling and un-assembling this part, I can only hope I have it right. If marking this part means so much, make sure one can assemble it correctly. This assembly took about 2.5 hours. The directions, all in pictures as one can say a picture says a thousand words (not in this case), could be better. The assembly of the basket went well. Though if one can put something together upside down, it's me I guess. The top tube I of course put in upside down making the holes not match the top and bottom frame. Also the greasing and oiling of this unit. I can not see most home owners do this task. Though I have done it, and will continue to do it several times a year, I see this an issue. Couldn't one have a grease fitting put in there some where instead to tearing the wheels off to do it? So, as far as it working or not. Too much snow at this time to try it. Maybe in a week or so I will get it out and do the final adjusting and get it going. I really can't wait. Update: I used this for the first time yesterday. Sweet! One has to adjust the height of the brushed to the height of the drawbar you attach it to, but then it works like a dream. It didn't skip around at all. I used my 4 wheeler and drove all around in every pattern, criss-cross, straight, circles. When emptying it out, it wasn't one handed for me. No big deal. It is still easy. Then I just kicked the dead grass into the manure pile and kept coming back with more. It will decompose and make good compost. I would buy this again. ... show more

This product is working really well. We have a large property and this is making leaf management so much easier. We have several oak trees, and this product also picks up several of the acorns. Once the leaves are gone it is SO MUCH easier to pick up the acorns. Putting it together was a little more challenging than I thought it would be, but got it done. One small part was missing. I called the company, and the service could not have been better. GREAT CUSTOMER service.
