  • Make sure you have all your hardware.
My cub cadet xt1 enduro, needed the mount brackets on the inside of the frame rails the bolt holes and slots are a tiny bit undersize, drill or file for the bolts to slide through. My hardware kit was missing the 6, 3/8 bolts, washers and nuts to mount blade to frame mounting brackets. Also misding 2,1/4 bolts washers and nuts for the lift lever. Im not real crazy about the lift lever being 5 seperate pieces but will give it a chance before i give it bad review, it is built pretty well and heavy. I like the knob and pin to change blade angle, i had a different tractor and blade a few years ago and it was a battle moving the blade angle from the seat. Instructions could be better. Just plowed snow first time, remember to remove the plow tilt lock pins, it will save bending parts, bent cross pin slightly by not removing pins ... show more

  • Bad all the way around - should be removed from the website
This product should not be available for sale here - why is it still here, Amazon? What appeared to be a working snow plow with a sturdy blade and cutting edge turned out to be a bad design with flawed thinking in the fasteners and how to make the plow work. It is a fake. The deeper I got into the assembly, the more I realized how poorly this product was made. The company hides the fact the blade's angle feature is NOT adjustable from the tractor seat. You must be in front of the tractor and manually pull a release knob in order to change the angle - every time! The lifting lever is weak and does NOT hold the plow up when raised as there is not a true "up" position. The operator must constantly hold the lever when raised. A catch lever that was supposed to hold the blade in the up position doesn't even come close to working and fails on the release attempts. It appears they tried to use a bicycle cable and fudged a release. It will not release the plow if you somehow get the lever to catch. At first I thought there was something missing. Well, yes, there were missing fasteners as well. No amount of adjusting or fiddling with it will compensate for a design that does not work. DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE - DO NOT ORDER. AVOID this plow or you will regret the purchase. Dealing with customer dis-service was a battle from the start and they fought things every step of the way. Not recommeded at all. ... show more

  • Best purchase ever
Oh wow. Only was able to use this blade once after lawn tractor modification. 14+inches in one major storm more than paid for this purchase. After a slight modification( blade would not fully lock left or right) it was amazing in handling this amount on a 200+ feet of concrete driveway. Saved my back ... show more

  • Good product for the money.
This is a good product for the money. The only reason I gave four stars is because of the blade lift system. Plainly speaking, it sucks! Otherwise this blade functions very well. After mounting, (directions are not the best) I was able to do some light landscaping easily. The blade seems heavy enough for this use. I have not yet been able to use it in snow. Will probably require tire chains and possibly weights since the blade makes the front feel heavy. My tractor is a Cub Cadet XT1 22hp. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase but since it is a new purchase I can't speak to durability. ... show more

  • Would have returned it if I could have
I use this blade now, but only because I made adjustments and did the extra work to compensate for the shortfalls of this product myself. My experience with the manufacturer, assembly, and the product can be clearly understood in 7 points as follows... 1. Customer service - I actually called the manufacturer with the model number of my lawn mower before purchasing (a John Deere 350 - one of the most standard lawn tractors in America). They transferred me to an "engineer" who said it "should" work. I should have stopped right there. But I ordered it. 2. Packaging - The product is quite heavy. It's pretty good steel. The box they ship it in is a single walled cardboard box like any small product would come in. No surprise - the box was fall apart and had holes in it when it arrived. I could literally stick my whole hand into the tears in the box to touch the product. 3. Packaging - when I opened the box, the hardware (bolts, washers, etc) was in a plastic bag that had been stapled shut, but the plastic tore away from the staple, was wide open and the hardware had spilled all over the inside of this big box that was full of holes. No surprise - hardware was missing. 4. Assembly and install - with the provided hardware plus a trip to the hardware store, I assemble the product, which worked fine. However, when I went to attach it to my lawn tractor, there was no way it could attach to my frame. 5. Customer service - I called the manufacturer again. They did transfer me to someone (the same guy) to help me. I sent him pictures of my frame. To his credit, he did look at them and was polite on the phone. He wanted me to "try" to connect the blade about 6 inches too high. The instructions clearly say how high it needs to be to work correctly. It really felt like he was saying, "I don't know. Try stuff." I felt like he didn't have a solution and was hoping I was a handyman or something. Again, I went to the hardware store to add to the assembly to make it work with my [John Deere] tractor. 6. Instructions - the instructions were okay. However, they had clearly changed some of the manufacturing since the instructions were written and they didn't match anymore. At first it was confusing. If you can take your time and use some common sense, you can figure it out. 7. Usage - the product worked fine once I had made all the adjustments for it to fit my lawn tractor. So disappointed. This thing would have been very difficult to ship back, especially in the box that was destroyed in arrival. Once I started assembling it, I felt it was too late and had to "make it work". This product came at a good price and is strong enough for light work. You can make it work for you if you are handy. ... show more

  • Husqvarna owners beware !!!
If your putting this on a Husqvarna there is a problem with it not fitting right. I felt the blade was good quality but the brake pedal is in the way. I had to get a piece of 1/2”iron pipe that fits good into the tubing of the arm and I cut it it To go beyond the tire and beyond the brake pedal. I got it to work but very uncomfortable the blade is done and hard to reach the handle. The company tech service was very nice but if I had to do all over I would have not bought it. ... show more
