If you're looking at pre-mixed fuels, you are well-acquainted with the frustrations of "stale" or otherwise non-viable hydrocarbon fuels, and the issues they can create with small-engine fuel systems- especially for occasional-use machines. I have been using the Husqvarna 584309701 2-stroke fuels for over a decade in pretty much every machine I own. Regardless of ambient conditions- extreme cold, extreme heat, high humidity, bone-dry air- engines fire quickly and easily every time, then run consistently smooth at idle and operational RPM- no stumble, sputter, or detonation of any kind. Additionally, this fuel remains stable and viable for a LONG time. I have used 3+ year old options, right out of the can, assuming there would be a drop in start-up or running performance- NOPE! ...at least no hat was detectable. Perhaps most notable in my experience, carburetors, tanks, lines, and filters remain MUCH cleaner than with self-mixed fuels and require almost NO year-to-year maintenance. The cost can feel prohibitive, but when you do the comprehensive math- recognizing the minimized maintenance, optimal machine performance, and significantly-reduced downtimes, you CANNOT go wrong with this fuel. My husqvarna 268xp loves this fuel easy starts stays fresh already has fuel stabilizer in it just fill and forget last years no smoke great performance definitely recommend

While pricey compared to gasoline and oil this stuff works great. After having so many issues with my Husqvarna 128LD with the fuel system I had to retire it and bought a new one. I have only used this premix and it always starts on the second pull when cold and first pull once warmed up. The 5 year shelf life is another great plus.

I live on 70 acres of woodland in Maine. The land is dense in trees and brush. Winter tree fall removal, tree trimming, brush clearing, and cutting firewood places a heavy demand on associated equipment. The problem is, equipment may see heavy use for months, and then sit idle for months, and weather changes from hot to cold are extreme. Using other brands of premix, or mixing my own 2 stroke fuel with local gas supply, it was necessary to rebuild carburetors every two years, or flush out gas tanks and change plugs and filters 2x annually. Since changing over to Husqvarna premix, chain saws, pole saws and clearing saws always start, even is the worst weather, even after equipment was idle for extended periods of time. Maintenance has been reduced to routine manufacturer's recommendations. The savings on parts and labor have been major.
