The Pro-Lift box came with everything inside, and I had no issues putting it together. Pros- no more back breaking, or crawling to change blades, or scrap clean the mowing deck. Light to move around, and the overall weld construction seems to be good. Cons - The carter pins are very small, you will need to make sure that you keep an eye on them. When disengaging the pump jack, make sure you do it very slowly, and only other issue is to make sure you have a flat surface to set the jack lift on. Because I have only my lawn to use, I had to use a sheet of plywood to make the lift stable, either then that, if you take care of how you use it, the product is excellent ... show more

It took me a while to put it together (the right tools for the job would have made it a lot faster). It is sturdy, easy to use, a very simple design, letting the mower down was exciting, as it fell rather quickly, faster than anticipated. I would not use this around children, and you must chok the wheels on the mower. Because the lift is on wheels, and there is no brake to hold them in place, when I backed the mower off the tire baskets, the unit shot out from under the mower, I recommend you wedge something against the hydraulic handle end to prevent it from moving as the mower is backed off of it. It was an ok value for the money, it worked. Just be careful backing the mower off the lift. ... show more

    • Did the job; a few tips for use...
I bought this because I'm 67 years old and can't lift big stuff anymore nor jury-rig something to substitute for safely. I had to change the blades and install a mulcher kit on a John Deere Z335E zero turn 42 inch mower. I'm handy with tools. I was able to assemble it in about 30 minutes out of the box, no missing parts or misalignment of holes for screws/bolts. It comes with 4 little wheels so it can be driven to the right spot for the mower. I drove the mower on, put on the parking brake, chocked the back wheels, then jacked up to the max (2 ft?), ENSURED THAT BOTH ANGLE JAMS (I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CALL THEM BUT THERE ARE TWO "JAMS" THAT FIT INTO SLOTS TO LOCK IN HEIGHTS.) BE CAREFUL, WHEN I FIRST DID IT, ONE WAS "IN" ONE WAS "OUT" . WITH MINOR TEASING, BOTH EASILY SEATED. Then I released the pressure on the bottle jack so it rested on the "stops" then retightened the release on the bottle jack to ensure that if the stops slipped, the jack would still hold. RETIGHTEN AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION. I worked under the mower for about 1+ hrs without any issues arising, lowered it by pumping it up a bit to release the "stops" then foot pedaling the stop into the locked position, then gently unscrewed the bottle jack relief valve, standing to the side, because as the mower lowered, the entire jack rolled a bit backwards to compensate for the height. It mostly folds but not entirely flat...sticks out about a foot when stood up from the wall... I don't normally write reviews but this is a decent product for the price. Paint job very thick so that I'm hoping that it won't rust too quickly in the shed. Good product... ... show more

It works well. Has a good lift height. I don't really trust it to be laying under the mower so i put a wood block under it just in case. I have used the harbor freight item and they look and work exactly the same.

I have two mowers for a large hilly property and recently purchased our first ZERO turn Cub Cadet ZTS2 which is amazing on hills (for those wondering). I wanted to sharpen the blades but could not for all my efforts free up the nuts on the blades. I needed to get under this beast and use an impact wrench to do the job. This lift was just perfect. It gage me plenty of space to work under the deck and get the job done. Today I added new blades and a mulching kit. It was my second use of this lift and it is was a great experience. It is very simple to setup out of the box. I did not even need instructions. It is also easy to operate and is very stable on the maximum lift setting. I felt comfortable under the mowing deck. I kicked it and shook it a couple of times to test it. The lift also has wheels making it very easy to move about and it lays flat for storage either vertical or horizontal. I would recommend this lift. Good value for the money. Time will tell, of course, but so far so good! ... show more
