I installed this Kozyard door awning above my front door, and it’s been fantastic so far. The size is just right for a standard door, and the two side wings really help block rain and wind from coming in at an angle. It looks sleek and modern, not bulky like some other awnings I’ve seen. I bought the Kozyard awning door swing (W 72” × D 40”), and it exceeded my expectations. The swing is strong and comfortable, and the awning gives just the right amount of shade on sunny days. Assembly was easy, and the size fits nicely in my backyard without taking up too much space. It feels very durable and well-made. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing outdoor swing.

The media could not be loaded. While the awning is able to be assembled by one person, it takes two to get it mounted on the mounting plate, just because it's awkward and 8ish feet above the threshold. During assembly, use some tape to hold the PVC slats into the edge tracks while screwing the frame together. I recommend using sealant between the mounting track/support feet and siding and in the screw holes to keep moisture from wicking into the siding and sheathing through the screw holes. It's not mentioned in the instructions but really should be done. The included "adhesive" is mostly worthless. Don't bother with it. I got the 66" version and there were only 5 clips provided for both supports, there should be an additional 5 clips. It is seeming to hold, but feels like it is less than ideal. We'll see how it holds up to the first windstorm which is happening in a few days. I did pull down some sheet rock in the finished shed and put backing 2x4's in so the screws had more than just the siding and sheathing to hold onto, pic included. Once it is all up, looks good enough, but it is a bit flimsy/wobbly. Short vid provided to illustrate. I am not too worried about it holding, but others in my household are. We shall see. <edit> Survived the windstorm with 60+ MPH gusts no problem. I'm gonna need to do something about where the drainage lands, but that's to be expected.

Instructions are not too detailed for start. Everything ok till step 4, then it is impossible to do for one person. After trying for the 6th time I got fed up with it and put it back in the box. It's cheap 😔 made

While the overall quality of this awning seems good, the assembly was a nightmare. It takes at least two people and would be easier with three. Getting the panels into both curved frames, keeping them in the frames, and then putting the screws in was almost impossible. Once we would get it all together, it would slip apart before we could get a screw in it. Then, the roof bars are too long (see photo). I called the company as instructed to in the instructions. The lady asked me to email photos. I did. She assured me someone would contact me today with advice since I wanted to install it tomorrow. Never heard from anyone.

This awning is great for the price. The install process was easy. We are remodeling the house, but they charged us an additional $200 to install it. So instead, I decided to do it myself.
