This has been the best purchase. Compaired umbrellas the cost with stands still more expensive than this retractable awning. Easy to assemble took about an hour went into the roof overhang tightened and got a retractable awning without drilling. Great appearance and seems sturdy. I retract the awning when its windy to ensure it doesnt damage it but no isses all parts arrived. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely love this! Easy to assemble. Fits on our roof overhang eave to ground. We have it over our side garage door so we can sit in our glider chairs in shade. Bought a second to place on other side of house over our huge dining room window where the sun comes blaring in at sunset. This will keep our corner nook cooler too. It holds up very well in pour down rain (Hawaii gets some downpours). Water does pool a little so we just angle 1 side and water runs right off. Also held up on windy days.

Easy to assemble. The only thing is that it uses a tension rod at the top and bottom (not sure why) so I had to improvise and used shelf brackets to attach it to the outside of the back porch.

We LOVE OURS! We live in a community in Florida that has “caged” patios. We live pled at custom made awnings, and those they are nice but also huge, heavy and expensive! It did take both of us to put it up. The video was very helpful! It’s perfect for shade especially the hot afternoon sun that makes life miserable during spring and summer. It’s adjustable so you can change the height really easily. We don’t use it for rainy day coverage or super windy days. We consider this one of our best, inexpensive home upgrades to date!

Assembly instructions were clear and worked as expected. It was good to have a second set of hands (my wife's) to hold one pole while I was tightening the other. We were glad to not have to drill holes in our rental place. The metal pieces feel sturdy. The awning material is a bit thin, our only negative observation. But, it works! We are enjoying its shade. It looks fine. Good value.
