The blades seem to be of good quality, are sharp enough, and are cutting well. I can't say yet how long they will last. The negative aspect is regarding the hole locations -- they allow hardly any room to adjust the blades side-to-side (as intended by the planer design) to misalign any kind of nicks in the blades. They can be moved very slightly, but certainly not the full length of the slots. It shows up best on the locating pins (circled in yellow) in the attached photo. Also, the slots for the alignment pins on one of the three blade were almost too small to fit over the pins -- had to tap in place. I don't think they need to fit quite that tight. These blades cost a few dollars more and took an extra day to get here compared to the nearest competitor. I'm not sure I'll pay and wait extra next time without trying one of the alternatives first. The problem should be an easy fix if the manufacturer is paying attention. Update: The manufacturer reached out and offered a refund, so based on very good customer service, I revised my rating from 3 stars to 4. If they fix the hole fitment problem at some point, then I would rate this product at 5 stars. ... show more

    • Sharpness and correct size
USPS delivered to wrong house. Got today, correct size and seem real sharp. Metal is even thicker than OME.

It was made in Vietnam not in Taiwan. The description states it is made in Taiwan. That's why I bought it.

    • Get what you pay for
They were okay blades, however, they did not last very long. They lasted about 1/2 as long as Dewalt OEM blades. I usually have to replace Dewalt blades because of the number of nicks becomes too great, but the blades keep cutting. These became dull and I couldn’t even mill 2mm off the boards.

    • Better than others
I got these because the last aftermarket set I got were not drilled perfectly so my planer was acting like my head was not parallel. These were still not perfect but better than others I have purchased here.
