- Designed to work on tractors with a PTO shaft. The stump grinder works best on tractors featuring PTO shafts that are independent of the tractors transmission drive system. This allows the operator to control the speed of the tractor independently and separately to the PTO speed.
- Since the tractor pulls the grinder through the stump, the rate at which the tractor moves is important and should be independent of the PTO shaft.

I haven’t had it long but I’ve done 32 stumps, decent size and worked great. I did get a neck cramp from looking back but I also get that from box blading. For the price and for my own personal use I’m loving it. Very heavy duty and the steel crate it was delivered in I put 4 wheels on and made it a nice movable work station for my shop.

Love this thing. I run it on my 32 horse John Deere tractor. Easily reduces stumps to a sawdust filled hole in the ground. I just need to figure out how to use it with my quick detach system for easier attachment to the tractor.

I would have given 5 stars but I ran into a couple quality control issues. The top link attachment bracket that you turn 180 degrees and tighten had one of the bolts cross-threaded when assembled at the factory. It came out extremely hard and the threads were all galled. The second issue is the adjustable legs. They were drilled crooked. When raised all the way up the holes are way out of line. So bad that the pin will not even fit in. I just remove the legs when stump grinding. I just ground about 30 stumps and I will say this thing is a beast. It does a great job. Remember to check the torque on the cutters every so often. They do loosen up a bit.
