This is a really nice planner and I've enjoyed using it so far. The pen loop is handy. The only drawback is the SMELL! (I should have noted the other reviews that said the same thing). There's a very strong stink to it, presumably whatever materials went into the making of the cover. I'm hoping it will eventually fade. I like to keep my planner bedside so I can jot notes/reminders as they occur to me, but with the odor coming off of the planner right now, it's simply not possible. ... show more

The calendars (bought 3 of them total) have the outside hard cover that has either totally separated from the calendar/spine of the planner or are in the process of separating and being glued back together.
