    • Not OEM Ford quality, but adequate...You get what you pay for...
Bought these because of high prices from Ford for OEM...Old truck did not justify $300 for frosted headlight replacement...These are OK headlight housings if you overlook one important design/quality control flaw... These headlamps do not have a horizontal adjustment, just a vertical...Ford made them that way...OK...The vertical adjustment assembly works with a ball stud screw and socket arrangement, and the adjuster on these new headlights is of cheap ass plastic/faulty design IMHO...The socket is not deep enough to fully surround the ball stud and grip it firmly...Consequently the socket does not adequately engage the ball stud allowing the ball and socket to disengage (pop loose) and the headlight housing to flop around... I corrected this issue by replacing the new with the old Ford adjusters from my original headlights....If you don't mind switching out these parts, these are OK headlights and as bright and clear as OEM...Otherwise, I'd recommend avoiding this product and trying another after market make or paying for Ford parts... One plus with replacement of new with old is the adjusters were already "aimed" and all I had to do was check headlight aim, and it was right on...So no "in the dark" adjustment necessary... One more tip is to lightly spray the mounting brackets and the adjusters with WD40 or the like and exercise them a bit...Makes removal and install all the easier...YMMV...Cheers! MB ... show more
