I have had minor hearing loss for years, but have put off spending the money for traditional hearing aids. Finally, after not being able to hear the grandkids, I figured I’d try this lower cost device first. The difference is amazing! They go in easy and I can hear so much better! Like anything they will take time before you are totally used to having something in your ear (at first the itching drove me crazy) but the brain adjusts! The only downside I see is the volume control requires the little tool to adjust it. I’m keeping it in the nice carrying case and guarding it religiously. I've bought these for my grandfather who's extremely hard of hearing. Typically he's uninvolved in conversation due to being unable to hear, but ever since he's had them he's been able to take part of conversations again c: I know longer have to raise my voice at him just for him to hear bits and peices of what I said haha the price is great for what it has provided! My hearing has improved by 50%. I have turned down the ringer on my I Phone by 50%. Also, now watching the TV with the volume turned down. Who would believe that this low cost hearing aid could work as well as the big priced ones and with no adjustments needed.BNGF

I bought these for my elderly mother who has gotten hard of hearing. She loves them. I love that I'm not yelling any more so she can hear me. One day while she was out, one of them fell out and she lost it (she probably didn't have it fitted just right). I contacted customer service to see if I could order just the left one she had lost, or if I would have to order a whole new set. They said they would send me a left one at no extra charge! I've tried different hearing aids, and I unfortunately had to start using them young. Some cost from $10 (no good, of course) and one costs seven thousand dollars! Still a disappointment. And right now, I am not singing my praises for this particular hearing aid because someone else says: that they "gave one to grandma or grandpa" and they supposedly like it. I bought this FOR MYSELF - and so I can personally state, without taking 2nd hand information or some one else's hearsay for it, that it works superbly! You better hope your insurance picks up the tab for that. Rechargeable ones are fine -- if you don't forget to plug them in at night, or if they don't unexpectedly go dead while you're in a meeting or something else important. Then what? It takes maybe 30 seconds to pop in a new, fully charged this this device, and you are again good for another few weeks of wonderful hearing....and for a 'buck'!! And also, see if your "rechargeable" battery continues to take a full charge after it's six months old - compared to when it was new, I'll bet not.So "maybe" and cautiously I'll say that this particular hearing I've just reviewed won't work as superbly for everyone else as it does for me, who knows? But, only speaking FROM EXPERIENCE....finally, this one has for me, been the best thing since sliced bread!!WEFZDSSSDXCA ... show more
