I wear hearing aids so I'm familiar with them and I bought this one because of the small size. It was cheap so I thought I would take a chance and see if it would work for me. It was a mistake, but not a costly one. It has very good volume and with the proper ear sleeve it works without feedback, but the problem is the adjustment wheel; it is just way to small to even see with a magnifying glass and impossible to work with. After trying it for a while I just threw it in the trash. If you get one like this with a much bigger wheel it might work for you, but I don't recommend this one. ... show more

    • Not noise-cancelling and wire-loop screwdriver is useless!

I understand that they provide a magnifier, but the screwdriver is useless and you cant use the screwdriver and the magnifier while holding the amplifier - and it is definitely NOT noise-cancelling, it amplifies everything equally! Deceptive advertising!

Seller doesn't explain that you need to order one blue and one red unit to make a set -blue is angled to fit the left ear and red is angled to fit the right. Other than having to reorder for that mixup, the units do a great job for the price. The only drawback I've noticed is some background electrical noise that is constant. I'm sure with time I'll learn to tune that out. But compared to the incredible (and uninsured) price for hearing aids, I think these will do just fine thank you. ... show more

As long as your hearing loss is not profound, these are probably a good thing to try before dropping a ton of $$$ on regular hearing aids ! You will go through a pair of batteries every 5-7 days, so make sure you have plenty on hand. Once you start using them, you will notice what you HAVEN'T been hearing. I did have to replace one of them as the battery door broke, but as they don't cost a fortune, I was able to replace it without crying about it. ... show more

I purchased on that lasted for 23 days. It was replaced under return policy. The second one lasted for 32 days, which means it is not returnable. Do not purchase this if you do not want to replace it every month or so.

I've worn hearing aids for the last seven years and have one of the expensive (Phonak) sets. I was looking for a CIC hearing aid because I didn't want to lose the expensive ones while putting a mask on and off. I have to say that I was very pleased with this set. They're well packaged, have some additional supplies and the Amazon batteries work well and last about 3-4 days with constant wear. My only suggestion would be to purchase one of those kits you use to repair eyeglasses with that has the tiny screwdriver. Adjusting the volume is easy if you have a small tool. ... show more

Waste of money. No matter how deep I put it in my ear canal it would whistle on and off. Mostly on. It was hard for me to remove it and after several tries adjusting the fit, my tinnitus got much worse after I removed it. For the few seconds it worked without whistling, it sounded like I was in the bottom of a barrel. Worthless!!!!!! ... show more
