Putting this chair together was relatively easy. Only thing that took a little bit of time was removing excess metal from the screw holes on the "legs" so you can actually get the screw in there. When it came to attaching the back of the chair to the seat of the chair the screw holes were not perfectly aligned, but with patience and trying a few times everything worked out well. For the price, these chairs are a great buy. My husband and I each got a chair for our home office and we've been pleased. The things we like so far: *Easy to assemble *They rock a little bit for those who are fidgety or who like a little bit of motion while they are working *The mesh back makes it less likely for your back to build up heat when sitting too long *Seem like good, quality-made chairs *We have them on carpeting and because of the design of the chair legs, you don't need a mat to protect the carpet. Things I wish were different: *The seat cushions are firm. My husband, however, LOVES this so not everyone will be bothered by this. *The arm rests are hard plastic. Again, my husband doesn't mind this but I had to buy armrest cushions to slap on there just because my elbows were getting bruised. Otherwise, we've been very pleased with our purchase. ... show more

I actually like this chair better than the overpriced chair I bought from Staples! I will be buying armrest padding for it though. I like that this chair has no wheels. Nothing more annoying than a office chair that rolls all over the place making it feel "not grounded" or stable.

This chair was defective right out of the box. The bars that join the legs together had metal debris inside therefore you could not put the screws to assemble. No quality control whatsoever. But if you think that’s frustrating enough wait til you have to deal with the seller! They make you jump thru hoops to proof the chair is defective including asking for pictures. How do you take a picture of the inside of tubes. Eventually they accepted a return but no prepaid label. I went to UPS they quoted me $60 to return this defective product (the chair itself is $75). I had to issue a A to Z guarantee claim thru Amazon to finally get a refund. At the end they sent me a notification that they were “gifting” the broken chair and didn’t need to return.
