    • Single behind-ear hearing amplifier ~ no need for batteries
This is one of better hearing amplifiers I’ve found for my husband to wear while one of his hearing aids is being repaired and cleaned. It’s larger than some of the ear buds we’ve tried out, so I think the microphone is also larger. The operating buttons for the hearing aid are well positioned - you can easily use the slide button to turn up or down and you can use the push button for changing modes from Normal to Noise Canceling. It also has an Off-On button on the unit itself, which is convenient. The hearing amplifier has USB connection right on the hearing aid rather than the storage box. It’s very convenient not to have to replace batteries. The only confusing thing was that the listing had the term “hearing aids” in the title and I initially thought the listing was for a pair. If you read further down in the description, you’ll see that the quantity is “one” but I don’t think description and photos should use the plural or show a pair - it could be confusing. The hearing aid comes with nice storage case and the outer box makes a nice appearance if giving as a gift. In summary, this is a fine hearing amplifier for those with mild to moderate hearing loss, but I’m not sure it would be as helpful for those with profound loss. ... show more

These work very well. Controls are large enough for most people to easily adjust. They are durable as well. Recharge is done via USB port on bottom of hearing aid. They work better than many hearing aids we tested from Amazon. The only disadvantage is that they are more visible than most. A little trade-off for a good working and easy to control hearing amplifier. ... show more

Using this device was enough for my wife to go get a formal hearing test and see if a hearing aid is doctor recommend for her. My wife had an "ah ha" moment at first when she could finally hear things that she was unable to hear before. She was unsure on the fit as it felt loose around her ear and there is no way to adjust the tightness of the fit. She has long hair and wears prescription glasses, so it's possible that those factors may have influenced how the hearing aid sat on her ear. My wife really liked the ability to be able to adjust the modes and the volume. She was able to adjust her ability to hear certain sounds and block out background noises. The hearing aid comes with different ear canal/ ear buds to fit in your ears. The hearing aid seems to charge quickly. ... show more

The problem with this was that it just magnifies the sound that is closest. That means you can hear youself extremely well. If you were mute and also hard of hearing this might be great, since you'd be able to have the volume perfectly attuned to others versus having yourself so magnified in comparison. Pros: It works well. My mom is really happy for the sound. It is easy to set up. Cons: The only thing my mom complains about is that it is too big and sometimes fall off her ears.

I really like the clarity I get from this, I wasn’t sure if it would work that good, but I was pleasantly surprised how much this device allowed me to hear. Some sounds that we autocorrect classify in our day to day life as backup white oil suddenly gets shifted to center stage from wearing this hearing aid. If you are looking for an affordable alternative to other hearing aids that might be out of your price range, then this is definitely worth it! ... show more

Though these are not as hidden as other hearing aids, they are great for hearing sounds that I normally cannot without them. With suffering from a slight hearing loss from years of working in loud noise areas. these hearing aids allow me to hear sounds that are normally foreign in my world.
