  • Clean, Minimal-Ingredient Vanilla Whey Isolate. Great for Recovery and Everyday Protein
Flavor Name: Vanilla
I added this vanilla whey isolate to my routine to support muscle recovery and hit daily protein goals without artificial junk, and it’s a standout choice for clean supplementation. Ingredient simplicity: This product uses only a handful of premium ingredients: grass-fed whey protein isolate as the main protein source, natural vanilla extract for flavor, fermented Reb-M (from stevia) for light sweetness, and sunflower lecithin to help it mix smoothly. No artificial sweeteners, colors, or fillers. Mmmm Protein content & purity: Grass-fed whey isolate means a very high percentage of pure protein per scoop. Isolate is quickly absorbed and low in carbs and fat, making it ideal for post-workout recovery and lean muscle maintenance. It also tends to be easier to digest with lower lactose content compared with concentrate formulas. Taste & mixability: The vanilla flavor comes through clean without overly sweet or chalky notes. It mixes easily in a shaker or blender, and doesn’t clump. Works well with water, milk, or blended into smoothies. Performance: This formula supports muscle repair, daily protein targets, and recovery without the extra additives many competitors rely on. The simple ingredient list helps avoid gastrointestinal irritations that artificial sweeteners sometimes cause. Things to know: Like any whey protein, those with dairy sensitivity may still notice mild digestive reactions. Starting with a smaller serving and mixing with food or milk can help tolerance. Overall: A strong protein powder for people who want high-quality whey, simple ingredients, and good recovery support without artificial flavors or unnecessary extras. ... show more

  • Clean ingredients and mixes well
Flavor Name: Vanilla
Bought with my own hard earned cash, although I would have loved to get it free for a review. I really appreciate that this protein powder only has a few ingredients and skips all the artificial fillers. The vanilla flavor is pretty subtle, making it easy to blend into smoothies without overpowering the fruit. It dissolves smoothly in a shaker bottle, leaving almost no chalky residue at the bottom. It's a solid choice if you want a straightforward grass-fed isolate. ... show more

  • Found the perfect protein!
Flavor Name: Vanilla
This protein mixes so weak with my coffee and the taste is incredible. So happy to finally find a clean whey protein with great taste and doesn’t clump or get gooey when mix with warm liquids.

  • 4 Ingredients!
Flavor Name: Vanilla
Clean tasting. No need to mix with dairy, cold water is perfect. No clumping . Blend on low speed and won’t foam. No bloating . This is second bottle for me. No different from the first. Excellent whey isolate. There’s more expensive isolate out there. I’ve tried at least 3 others . This one is better! ... show more

  • Way too sweet for my taste
Flavor Name: Vanilla
This is way too sweet tasting for me. I’ve tried mixing it with several things to tamper down the taste, but it’s pretty hard for me to stomach. I’ll finish this canister because I can’t stand wasting money, but will not purchase the flavored again. Might try unflavored if it’s available.

  • Great product, great brand.
Flavor Name: Vanilla
I love all the products I’ve tried from this brand. The taste of the whey protein isolate isn’t as thick as the normal whey, but it still tastes good. It dissolves easily enough in my shaker bottle. Texture is light, easy to drink. I have ordered multiple containers, I’ve been running and exercising daily. I don’t eat a ton of protein (due to sodium restrictions) , so this helps me meet my protein intake. Definitely worth the money to me. ... show more

Makes a nice blended shake. Not sweet but has a mild vanilla flavor that is just right for me. No digestive issues as some of the bottled single serving drinks do for me Also.....cost saving

  • Taste great, but prefer the pure unsweetened version.
Flavor Name: Vanilla
I usually order the unsweetened vanilla Whey ISO and add stevia and have no issues with that. I think the fermented Reb-M might be an issue for me with this product. I am not sure if there is some residual residue from the fermenting process but my stomach cramps up after using this product. If you need pure protein due to health issues I would stick with the unsweetened version. I ordered this on accident thinking it was the unsweetened version being that I thought the whole concept of NAKED was pure protein. Guess I have to start watching out for these added ingredients in NAKED products. Other may not have issues with it, but I have a compromised microbiome from Lyme disease so I am very sensitive to unnatural things so take this review with a grain of salt. If you are healthy you may not even notice anything. I was curious how the fermented Reb-M was made so I looked into it and this is what I found. This is how Reb-M is made which doesn't sound natural at all: 1. Preparation of Engineered Yeast Scientists introduce the specific genes from the Stevia rebaudiana plant that are responsible for producing Rebaudioside M (Reb M) into a type of yeast (or another microorganism like E. coli). This "programs" the yeast to produce the desired sweetener molecule instead of its usual metabolic byproducts (like ethanol). 2. Fermentation The engineered yeast is put into large fermentation tanks and fed a simple sugar source, such as sugarcane or corn dextrose, in a nutrient-rich medium. The yeast consumes the sugar and, using the new genetic instructions, begins to synthesize and excrete the Reb M molecule into the fermentation broth. The temperature (around 30°C), pH level, and aeration are carefully monitored and controlled to maximize the yield of Reb M. This process can take several days in a fed-batch process, where the sugar source is added incrementally. 3. Separation and Filtration Once the fermentation is complete and the desired amount of Reb M has been produced, the process is stopped. The contents of the tank are processed to separate the liquid (which contains the Reb M) from the solid biomass (the inactive yeast cells). The yeast is filtered out using various filtration and centrifugation techniques. 4. Purification The liquid solution is a crude extract containing Reb M and other minor byproducts. This solution undergoes several intensive purification steps: Deionization and Chromatography: The solution is passed through a series of columns with adsorbent resins. This process captures the Reb M molecules while allowing impurities, salts, and other unwanted byproducts to be washed away. Washing: The captured Reb M is washed with a solvent (typically an ethanol-water mixture) to further increase its purity. 5. Concentration and Crystallization The purified solution is concentrated by evaporating the solvent. The highly concentrated solution is then cooled, allowing the high-purity Reb M to form a crystalline powder. This is similar to how table sugar is crystallized from sugarcane juice. 6. Drying and Packaging The Reb M crystals are dried to remove any residual moisture and then milled into a fine, consistent powder, which is then packaged as the final commercial sweetener ingredient. The final product is tested to ensure high purity (often >95% pure Reb M) This is no way reflects how NAKED gets their fermented Reb-M, just the process I found online for how it is made. I think I would rather stick with adding in my own organic green stevia which is just the dried and ground stevia leaves. ... show more
