Bought for my grandfather, he is very hard of hearing and thought this was a cheaper alternative, but he failed to take them out when it was ringing from not properly being in his ear and he is now deaf and cannot hear me at all without the hearing aids and he is unable to wear them due to his ear shape and they keep coming out of his ears. not sure what to do

Just to get the record straight, in the U.S., "hearing aids" are high tech, finely tuned and 'professionally' evaluated and fitted. And they cost beaucoup bucks. So, in that context, these are not "hearing aids". They are correctly, as the seller also notes, "hearing amplifiers". They do what you would expect at this price point ... they make sound louder. They are not specific to an audiology exam. So, what I can report is only particular to my hearing loss, and not anyone else's. The sound is not pure and clear, of course. It is tinny. I do not hear any improvement at the low end, but they help me hear the high end better. Are they "noise cancelling"? Well, just now I am in a room with the TV on and a window AC running. They amplify the TV, the AC and everything else. So no, they are not noise cancelling. If you need hearing amplifiers in this price range to hear conversation better with one or two people in a room, these will work pretty well. But that's about it ... from my perspective.
