  • Great hearing aid, price was very affordable.
I really liked these for the price. The color wasn’t a problem as I use them for hunting also. If by chance one falls out you can definitely pick out the color from the leaves. My older brother also bought these after he used one of mine to test out. No need for buying batteries all the time.

  • It amplifies all sound.
It amplifies all sound. If you have ever use citizens band radio, you know that you can hear things better if you turn the squelch down, but as you do so the static increases. The same thing with these hearing aids. The noise cancellation is basically a three stage squelch switch. I listen in a courthouse to testimony that I normally couldn’t hear anything that in the wuiet environment it does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you use them in traffic while driving a car the noise is deafening, so I just turned them either down or off ... show more

  • Work very well if you can get them charged.
Bought the hearing aids for my cousin to give as a Birthday present. Right out of the box, after the first charging. One hearing aid worked like it was supposed to. The second hearing aid the chargers light would not turn off( saying the charging was complete.) The elderly ladysaid she could not hear the ringing in her ear as much.. with the hearing aid she was able to use. The hearing aid that the charger was'nt working right, we could not get it fully charged. finally stopped working completely with- in a two week period. The other hearing aid is working perfectly. I think it was just a fluke. They are a very nice quality, look good on and are comfortable for and 83 year young lady to wear, great price. Will order again. Thank you Amazon customer service, you are the best. ... show more

  • Just say NO
Wow, where to begin. These look nice and feel really well made, however that is the best I can say about these. I knew they weren't hearing aids going into this, but needed to try before spending thousands of dollars for the real thing. These pick up every noise in the house except voices and the tv. The cat walking across the carpet, deafening. The fan running in the other room, deafening. Voices and tv, muffled. The only other thing you hear is the mode change beep which is again deafening! Oh and turn them on before you put them in your ear, why, because the on beep is LOUD. Please, don't make the same mistake I did, stay far away from these. ... show more

  • DOESN'T MEET A 1 YEAR WARRANTY AND BATTERY LIFE OF FIVE YEARS
I've purchased these hearing aids more than once. One of the times, one of the hearing aids didn't work since day one. Amazon gave me a refund. When I purchased these hearing aids again, one of these stopped working at the fifth month and within a few days the other hearing aid didn't work. Amazon said it's after 30 days. They said contact the company. I contacted the company and said its been five months, so it's within a one year warranty. It is within the battery life of five years. I haven't heard anything from the company. I'm extremely disappointed. ... show more

  • Amplifies, but…
I bought these to see how bad my hearing was since the audiologist told me I needed hearing aids & my hearing was quite affected. $3,000 to $6,000 hearing aids. Not happening with no insurance coverage for even a portion of the cost. I took the audiologist test to an old friend who used to be in the business, he said I am no where close to needing the expensive aids. They are custom made, programmed to the persons specific hearing loss and at some point I will want that. He said my loss is significant, and I do need aids, but should try more generic amplifiers- they amplify everything, not specific to what you need. Anyway, I got these to start with, an yes, I do need hearing aids. I realized sounds in my home that I never knew were there. I am able to put the tv on volume 6-7, not 18-20, big difference. I keep the captions on though, I’m so used to them. These particular hearing aids are amplifiers. They are not great quality- the choices of modes do not work as stated in the instructions. The sound can be tinny and sometimes just hearing things you haven’t heard, or at least not clearly is unnerving. Anyway, I’ve gotten used to wearing them when I think I need to, and not all the time. For the cost, they are fine for now. As my hearing decreases I will move to a more expensive model. My audiologist did not like when I brought them to the office the day of his sales pitch and fitting appointment. He wouldn’t not even touch the box or instructions to help me set the modes, as it maybe user error that they aren’t working as expected. He told me he had never heard of the company and these were sold to me illegally. Not sure if all that true or not. I think they are fine for now, the sound is clear. I keep them on the lowest setting because I am not used to such loud noises and it is unsettling. A lot of people speak very loudly around me as a habit, so it takes adjustment for them to speak at a lower volume. They are rechargeable, and the charge lasts for more than enough time for me. They were worth a try and are functional. ... show more

  • Cheaper and easier to use than expensive models
My very expensive hearing aids conked out last year, not surprisingly right after the warranty had expired. I purchased new ones in the $100-$150 price range. Disappointingly, they did not work well, were awkward to use and a pain to recharge so often. And recently, I found these nice little hearing aids at an incredible price. Most reviews were positive (there will always be some malcontents out there). I now use them nightly when watching TV. No need to crank up the sound anymore to hear dialogues clearly. They are also so easy to recharge using the USB ports and of course super easy to use. I highly recommend this great product at such a fantastic price. Thank you!!! ... show more
