This hearing aid was purchased for an elderly family member, primarily for use at home chatting, watching TV, and grocery shopping. After actual use, the most noticeable improvement is in the clarity and naturalness of the sound. They no longer need to repeat themselves, the TV volume doesn't need to be as high, and the atmosphere at home is much quieter. Background noise is handled very well; when moving around in the living room or outside, ambient noise doesn't interfere with the main sounds. The operation is very user friendly for seniors.
