While they are budget friendly, they are strong hearing aids that have a 35db to 40db boost. They arrived fully charged. The storage/charging box needed a bit of a charge, but was fully charged in less than an hour. I cannot speak to it's hours of use yet, but they claim to last for up to 40 hrs per charge, the box can give two full charges, and charging it nightly won't shorten the life of the batteries. They're very strong. They have a 10 second delay, so you can turn them on before you wear them and not get the howling sound. Very impressed so far.

These are great for the price. My regular units had to go in to repair a fairly so I got these as an emergency backup. More bulky and less comfortable than regular Starkey hearing aids, but unbeatable for the price. Obviously they don't have the same functionality, but as a basic amplifier, they work quite well.

The hearing aids only made things fuzzy. When I turned them up all I got was loud fuzzy. I can hear better without them and I cant hear well but with the hearing aids in I cant understand anything.

I’m pleasantly surprised by how well these work! For context, I have total hearing loss in my right ear, and although the other is fine, sometimes it needs help. I bought these based on user ratings and price, if they didn’t help, it was no big loss. Surprise! My left ear clarity is so much better, they are comfortable, and my TV volume is no longer at max. I’m not saying “what?” when someone speaks to me. They’ve been so helpful, and I recommend to anyone who needs a little hearing help

I ordered the Connova Rechargeable Hearing Aids for my mom. She has started to have difficulty hearing over the last few years. She is very stubborn and does not really want to acknowledge that she needs to have her hearing checked. Let alone wear a pair of hearing aids. I ordered these on the half chance, maybe I could get her to at least wear them while she was at my home visiting. I was becoming more and more frustrated repeating myself and having to speak very loudly to her and still not getting any response. Reluctantly she gave these a try. They are very big. She had trouble keeping them in place. Trying to secure the wire under her glasses was not easy. Since the back portion is so big they would not stay in place. After several hours trying to get the volume at the correct setting, they would just start with that very loud high pitch noise. The volume control button is on the back portion of the amplifier. The buttons are relatively large and are easy to push. But, the loud feedback was random and just start without any movement or touching the earpieces. She could barely tell it was happening, but everyone else could hear it. They are just basic amplifiers. We ended up sending them back. They came partially charged in the charging case along with their own USB plug for charging. After plugging them they did charged fully quite quickly. Unfortunately, due to the bulky mass and the random high pitch feedback these did not work for her. They were priced very reasonable. Hence why we thought we would try them out.

These hearing aids are easy to operate and charge. They are quite comfortable and compact and the case is easy to carry in a pocket or purse. Although my elderly fathers hearing is very significant these hearing aids offered some assistance with not having to yell to get him to hear. These are a temporary fix until his permanent aids are repaired. They have been very helpful for the cost.
