This is a nice compact set of hearing aids. The description did not reference whether these were for mild, moderate, or severe hearing loss, so I took a chance on ordering them for my father who has severe loss. Unfortunately they did not have enough amplification for him to use them - but I do have others in my family with more moderate hearing loss that can benefit from them. They are simple to use - all you need to do is plug in a USB-C cable into the base and they start charging. They come with some charge already on them, so they had green (full charge) lights on within a few minutes. The charging base is simple to use, and the two hearing aids fit easily by magnets and light up to let you know the connection is made. The units themselves are very light and thin - they will hardly be noticeable in your ear, which is nice. The different size ear pads that come with it are noticeably flimsy in construction - they're very soft and don't provide much of a good seal in the ear. They're comfortable, but I'm not sure how they will perform long-term. For performance, I'd have to say these are about average from the various aids I've tried. The unit squeals until you get a tight seal - which isn't that easy with the soft ear pad selection. Once you find a size that stops the squeal, the amplification is moderate at best - even at full volume. These are nice units - but I would only recommend them for mild hearing loss applications. ... show more
