The charger is very simple to use, the AMP setting and delay setting is very easy to use. It has a nice display that shows what the changer is doing, other chargers I saw a t a higher price didn't include the display. I haven't used the case or the mounting kits. The case looks nice, I haven't used it because I just store it in my garage when it's not being used. The mounting kit is easy to install and use, I used it for 2 months while I was parking in my garage. It charges my Ford Fusion from empty to full in 6 hours over night at the 12 amps setting and has always been ready to go in the morning. I use the delayed start to get the lower price rate after 9:00pm,it's just a few taps on the sensor to adjust the time delay after plugging into my car. I have used this charger every night since I purchased it, about 5 months ago. It still works great with no problems. My charger came with a travel case that I used 1 time to see how it fits, if you have a use for it, I'm sure it would last, it seems durable and keeps it stored nicely and compact. I bought this charger as a back up charger and installed it at my work. Although it is a 16 amp charger the circuit it is on only seems to provide it with about 12 1/2 Amps. That being said I have a 2012 and a 2011 Nissan leaf and with the battery at about 40% capacity will charge it to 100% in about 3 1/2 hours. Perfect for stopping by the office and running some more errands. I would highly recommend this as a great budget charger. And honestly many times I will get a cleaner better charge out of it than I do my level two charger which ultimately gives me a few extra miles of range. ... show more

    • No rfid card.
The product requires a rfid card to set a delayed charge and change the amps. I did not receive one with my charger.

We really like it. It's super easy to tell if it's charging or not. There's a display that's solid green when not plugged in. Flashing green if there's an issue. And rainbow when it's charging. And it came with a holster.

I thought I just got a bad unit the first time, but with my replacement it charged fine for the first week but now it just keeps saying there's an error and gives no info on how to fix it. Holding down the button changes some setting but there is nothing in the guide about what that setting is. Now it won't charge my car again ... show more

Unit looked like a good one to try (I have multiple EVSEs). So I purchased the 40a version. It was labeled as such on box and the unit, but would only toggle to 32A.
