I don't usually write reviews of stuff I get, but this is a special case. I was looking for some sort of privacy fence for my side yard, nothing too big, just enough to make the place look a bit more presentable. I had been to Home Depot and Lowes and did not find anything I really fell in love with (and could afford). So as usual, I went to Amazon to see what they had to offer. We had seen a wooden fence at Lowes which we liked but it was pretty expensive, and the wood had to be bought separately, which I did not want to do. The wife surprised me a bunch when she said it was just what we needed, so that is what I looked for on Amazon. Lo and behold, I found the Enclo Wood Privacy Enclosure, everything I needed in one box, and it looked great. I bought it, and waited to see if it was as good as it looked. It came this morning and guess what, IT WAS FANTASTIC!! I cannot say enough about how well thought out the whole set up was. Everything I needed in one nicely laid out box. It was equally as easy to put together as it seemed and I am pleased to say I did not screw anything up! Thank you, Amazon, for having the Enclo Compan y as one of your vendors, and Thank You Enclo, for understanding that nice stuff does not need to be expensive or complicated to make a customer happy. I ordered 4. Two days later I ordered 2 more. I wanted one more but they were out of stock. Thet are back in and I ordered two more! They are easy to install. I have very rocky ground. So I had to move them around a bit to get the long spikes in the ground, even with a wet ground! Rocks don't move. Super easy to put together. Everyone I've showed photos to, they all want the panels! It is a perfect privacy fence from my neighbors, in my new firepit area I had built! They are very sturdy. The reason why I wanted slats, so the wind can go through it. You will not be disappointed at all. One box was short a board. I emailed the company and they promptly sent out a replacement. My first 6 panels were at sale price. The two current ones I just ordered, are not. I'm just glad they are back in stock so I can finish my campfire area. Can't wait for the burn ban to get lifted!!! ... show more

The wood slats have a nice scent of Cedar. My husband put it together very easily. It’s nice and sturdy and very good quality. Very pleased, considering getting another. It’s nice for the purpose of having the privacy in the area of space you need it for in your backyard or garden but it makes a very nice decorative accent as well. ... show more

    • Easy to assemble and looks great!
I really like this privacy screen! It does a great job hiding my trash can. Assembly is pretty easy. It does take a little time so be prepared. We had one damaged plank, as the wood is a lightweight pine. Getting it into the ground was a challenge. Make sure you moisten the ground beforehand. I didn't so it was TOUGH to get in the ground. Then I didn't like the placement but it was not moving once it was in there....so be sure you are happy with the placement before hammering it into the ground. They supply a wood block to hammer it into the ground and it fell apart quickly but still worked. Again, wet the ground!!! Don't make my mistake! We have had it outside about a month now and it still looks as vibrant as it did when we opened the box. Very pretty! ... show more

    • Great panel! Instructions need a little work.
OH MY GOSH! IT SMELLS AMAZING!!! Those were my first thoughts when I opened the box. My whole kitchen and dining rooms smelled like cedar for a day and it was glorious! This was reasonably easy to assemble. It is taller than me so I had to enlist my husband's help halfway through simply because I couldn't reach the top to slide the boards in. It is lightweight enough that I could carry it on my own though. Here is where it might be improved: the instructions were really nice and MOSTLY clear. However, they showed multiple ways that it can be assembled based on the configuration you might be using IF you have more than one panel. It got a bit confusing because it put those in the middle of the build without any clear direction as to how to finish the assembly if you ONLY have a single panel. It would make sense to me to have some kind of note directing you to a specific page on how to finish the build if you are only using the one. At first, it made me think I had skipped a step or that I was missing some pieces because it literally flowed into a multiple-kit configuration. All of the steps were numbered so it wasn't as if was obvious. I guess the manufacturers assumed someone would buy multiple kits for the more complex configurations and put them in the middle because that would be the point where someone would have to make the shift. A note giving some insight into that would have been nice. Otherwise, this privacy panel is lovely. It is sturdy and well-constructed. I love how I can even hang planters on it. It has a very clean, modern design and looks great in my outdoor entertaining space. ... show more

This was such an easy project for me to complete. My husband only had to pound it into the ground. Before this we had a piece of lattice that was up. This looks so much better and sleeker. It took about 20 minutes to put up and in the ground. I hope that it lasts a long time for how nice it looks. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to hide something. ... show more
