  • Better than expensive clinical aids
I’ve worn prescription hearing aids from Costco for about 8 years. Started with Kirkland behind the ear model ($1,400) and then went to a Rexton in ear model ($2,600). The behind the ear were painful because I wear glasses and I also didn’t like how visible they were. The Rexton was custom made to my ear and it worked fine but they were not comfortable and the batteries stopped taking a charge twice. The first time they were under warranty and the second time off warranty. Which led me to consider a new solution. I decided to check out over the counter in ear models. I wanted to be able to do settings to my own hearing loss, be comfortable, not look like a clinical model, hold a charge all day, and Bluetooth was a bonus knowing that it would add some size along with battery. The Elehear Delight checked all the boxes plus it had a 30 day trial period so I ordered a set through Amazon because they were cheaper here. I have to say that the quality of the sound rivals or exceeds my previous prescription hearing aids from Costco. I can hear birds singing and the voices of family members I generally have trouble with. I tried them in a noisy restaurant and while not perfect, they were still better than the two expensive clinical aids from Costco. They are incredibly comfortable and I don’t even know I’m wearing them most of the time. They hold a charge all day. They don’t look like clinical hearing aids but more like a set of earphones so I’m not as self conscious with them. The Bluetooth works very well and I can have phone calls and play music through them (not high end music quality it good enough to take on exercising). The app is easy to use and I can customize settings easily. The only issue I’ve noticed is that every time I put them on and open the app, they have to reconnect. I’m so glad that the FDA allowed over the counter hearing aids and that Elehear is producing quality aids at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • Might be 5 stars for most people
Don’t let my 3 star review scare you off and the fact that I’m returning these to Amazon for a refund. These could be your “5 STAR HEARING AIDS.” I own a very-VERY expensive pair of Oticon hearing aids that are placed behind my ears and have small tubes running to small inserts that go into my ear canal. The “behind the ear” versions of hearing aids are “tricky” in the fact if I’m wearing a cap or a Covid type mask, they get intertwined with my Oticon hearing aids each time I put on a mask or a cap. I’ve come very close to loosing behind the ear types because of the nature of them as opposed to a direct-in-the-ear type. I bought these Elehear AI hearing aids to remedy my entanglements with my behind the ear aids The reason I’m returning these is they make my tinnitus worse, painfully worse and I simply can’t use them because of this problem. For most people though wanting a decent pair of inexpensive hearing aids I think these would work well for you. They seem to be really made well and the charging case is very nice. The app that controls the ELEHEAR is straight forward and offers many options for user adjustments and individual preferences. There are probably a lot of other benefits for people with hearing loss but for me, with auditory problems such as TINNITUS and HYPERACRUCIS, they do not “aid” me at all and thus my 3 star rating, but for the average person, you would probably rate these as 5 STARS. ... show more

  • There's a lot of involved fitting to try to make them work.
I had high hopes for these. The fact that I could have a hearing aid that trippled for calls and music plus my hearing sounded great. Some of the reviews stated to be patient and follow instructions with fitting which I did. Wasn't impressed with the rubber fittings to begin with as slippery as everything is in my fingers I tried all the sizes small the whole way to the large but nothing would stop the ringing no matter what I tried. Connecting the app was a pain on the first couple of tries as it wouldn't connect to my galaxy z fold 6. Finally on the 5th try it connected. Tried them with my phone music but beyond level six it got distorted with ringing. I use my galaxy buds 2 pro with the phone and have no issues no matter the volume so Elehear Delight is not so much of a Delight. I've tried Audien Atom X, Sony CRE-C20, Karthus and various other brands and now the Delights. Again not so Delight. Having to change all that gitup is not a pleasant experience for the customer. Don't know who thought they were a great idea but it isn't. I go back to the Sony's, they at least didn't give an feedback noise and weren't as cumbersome. The Delights are going back for a refund, they are not worth the money for me. Other customers will have to decide on their own if they are a good fit for them. 369.00 and then three days later 299.00. Amazon should always refund the difference in price change. Three days later WTH ... show more

  • Delighted
A couple weeks ago the battery on my rechargeable prescription hearing aid started having problems. The audiologist told me they would need to send it off for repair, and it would take for 7-10 days. I didn’t want to rely on my AirPod Pro 3 for full time hearing help, so I began looking at other OTC options. I had recently started seeing ads for ELEHEAR, and after I read up on them, they seemed like a good choice. So I ordered the DELIGHT. Setup was very easy. I did quick 90 minute charge, during which I downloaded the app to my phone. They come preprogrammed with 5 different hearing scenarios, all of which can be tweaked through the app to suit your needs. And you have the option of saving those programs that are unique to you. During the 10 days I was using them I visited large and small retail stores, I attended a Board meeting, I did volunteer work at a couple of non-profits, I had a mammogram, I ate out in noisy restaurants, and I must say, I was impressed. They did a good job. In a noisy environment, I was able to pull out my phone and adjust them to lower the noise, and actually carry on a conversation with my husband. Adjusting the volume is done by either touching or tapping the earbud. They can be used as hearing aids only or as earbuds for music and podcasts. As a sort of bonus, they also have installed programs to mask tinnitus, which is really pretty great. I could go all day on a charge with no problem. I plan to continue to use these, along with my prescription device, and my Air Pods, sort of match my device to my situation. As great as these are, I really think the app needs some work. Yes, it works, it’s just felt a bit clunky, but the same can be said for the app I use for the prescription hearing aids, so… Early on, I did reach out to the support staff, and they were very responsive and helpful. ... show more

  • Back up, Hearing Aids
I needed back up Hearing Aids to my normal Hearing Aids at some point during the day. I felt that these might be exactly what I needed and that’s how it’s worked out for me. I think they work fine. They do have some drawbacks that have caused me some issues. These are not your typical Hearing Aids, but they work like a hearing aid, but it picks up every single sound around me at the same application so sometimes it causes me to not understand what’s going on because it’s too much background noise but if you’re looking for something that’s economical to get you through today I highly recommend these the battery at this point is less than approximately eight hours so that’s a hope to have it charged all the time. I highly recommend these for those who can’t afford to buy the Hearing Aids that are extremely expensive until you can get the ones you really need. Plus they work great for listening to TV shows and answering my telephone. ... show more

  • Fancy sound amplifiers with decent app
Let me preface this by saying that this is my first set of hearing aids at age 71 so I'm not really sure what to expect. I just got them and and have only used them for a couple of hours but my initial thought is that I wouldn't use them except maybe to watch TV and maybe in a noisy restaurant. My hearing loss is only mild. I think if you had really bad hearing loss they would probably be great. I'm really looking for a pair that will just amplify voices (except mine) and maybe turn down the rest of the ambient noise is there something like that? They fit fine and are comfortable enough but since they really only amplify sound I find it really annoying that they also amplify my voice so it sounds like I'm speaking out of a tunnel. That's why I would probably only use them to watch TV and in a noisy restaurant where I can turn the volume down and mute the chaos. And as far as playing music on them the quality is not good enough to where I would use them for that at all. They don't really do me any good otherwise if I have to take them out to speak. I suppose you get used to it but I'll give it a try and update my review later. ... show more

  • Very satisfied customer!
My husband has had hearing aids for several years but has never been happy with them particularly at their high prices. When hearing aids became available over the counter, he was excited and started researching the various models from different companies. in March of 2026, he went ahead and ordered the ELEHEAR Delight OTC hearing aids for seniors. He has been very happy with his purchase. The hearing aids and controls were easy to use right away. The sound was outstanding. With his previous hearing aids I often had to repeat what I said. I no long have to do that. The sound is reliable and consistent. Recently, he had an accident and lost the left hearing aid. He contacted "support @elehear.com" and was relieved to learn that he could obtain a replacement. Ann in Elehear customer service walked him through the process. She made it very easy to arrange for the replacement. He just received the replacement and is very happy to be able to hear clearly again. Besides giving the product a five stars, he gives Elehear's customer service five stars as well. As he uses these hearing aids he keeps learning how to best utilize the various features. He is a very satisfied customer and recommends these hearing aids. ... show more

  • Elehear may have missed the mark with these
So far a mixed bag of impressions. Used all day so far. (I have previously tried the Elehear Beyond.....very uncomfortable, and Audien) Comfort is very good. Fit is good. Sound right out of the box seems relatively good but the app leaves EVERYTHING to be desired. With the app I absolutely cannot connect to my phone for calls or music. I have messaged them about this and am hoping for a reply in a day or so. Also, tuning with the app is really useless. I find very little if any difference between settings. Noise cancelling settings also seem to have little if any advantage over the default setting. At this point I'm a little nervous about these. My experience seems to be on par with a couple online reviews I read. At this point I'm giving 3 stars. I can't honestly recommend these hearing aids but I'm not condemning them either. ... show more
