Amazing product for conversations at home and work but not at a party as it does not have noise cancellation. At a party or loud restaurant you would have a heard time hearing what the person in front of you is saying. Now I have bilateral Otosclerosis so that may be the problem. Also, it does not work well when listening to music while driving. You get a weird noise interference. You also have to fiddle with while putting it in your ear so you get the right tone your looking for. Fully charge last 48 hours then it needs to be recharge. It comes with 2 but I use only one and the other I keep it charging until I need it. If your looking for everyday conversation, watching movies, listening to music at home, and even watching football with a few friends then this hearing aid amplifier are AMAZING. It works better then my Starkey WI Series hearing aid that cost me a few thousands of dollars. Buy them, they are worth it. I'm getting another pair just in case they discontinue these wonderful hearing aid amplifier.

The media could not be loaded. Unable to charge the both (left & right) unit with the supplied charging base dock. Although Charging dock looks fancy but looks like it both earpieces do not to make good connection with the base. I this this the bad design or base dock is defective. i would assume if base was good then at least one of the earpiece would have been charing. Symptom: After Inserting both earpieces to the dock, when dock base it connected to the power bank or supplied power adapter, green lights turns on and it goes off. after that no matter what you do, lights don't turn either green or red. BTW, if earpieces are not inserted, unplug then plug the base to the charger, both green light turns on and goes off. Tried connecting single and both, both ports but no luck. As per little instruction booklet: "red light should turn on, and unit will take 7 hrs to charge, and when charged lights will turn green. This unit o going back. I may update the review. if i re-order... Thanks,

This hearing amplifier is FABULOUS!!!! It is still getting its first charge but the sound quality is wonderful. It does not take a degree in mechanical engineering to make them work. There is an on switch, and volume control. Easy Peasey. These were so worth waiting for. No buying batteries, there is a charger for that.

My ear quit working (infection) and my hearing aid died! I got these to be able to function and they work better than I hoped. As amplifiers I give them 4 stars, really should be 3 but if you are on a budget these are amazing. When I got in my work van they screeched and I would turn them off until my destination. Video said to take off my hat but no way, it's cold in the morning! If i wanted to keep my expenses down, I could live with these. They are not hearing aides but they may work for you. My hearing aides are. 1600.00 That's a big spread. Depending on your needs, these may work.

At first, we loved these. My husband has had those very expensive types before, and he thought these were just as good. The recharging capability was especially useful. Unfortunately, they both quite work about 9 weeks out. The company rushed us a new pair, but they, too, only lasted a couple of months before quitting. We did everything we were supposed to, cleaned them regularly, etc., but they just didn't last. That said, at $45/pair vs. $4500 a pair, we could keep buying them every two months and it would take over 16 years to break even :-). Probably worth it, but we're going to try a slightly higher end brand next time, see what happens.

This set has higher amplifier settings than most I have tried. I work in a high volume store and need the extra loud settings. And rechargeable is a plus as well.

I found these to be too difficult for an older person to use. I bought these for my 85 yr old mother to use and she couldn't operate them. The volume dial is tiny and difficult for an older person to control. She couldn't put them on herself and after a day argued that she didn't have any "hearing aides". She has now already lost one ( we were trying them one at a time so didn't lose both) so I can't return them. She couldn't put them on herself, and trying to put them on someone else is difficult and then can't tell if the volume is too high or too low. Tried them on myself and found them difficult to wear since don't stay on and do not sit snug to the ear or in the ear, so I found them uncomfortable. The amplification is not constant and seems to go off and on. When it is working everything in the room is amplified, so it is a little strange to get used to how it is supposed to work or how it works for someone that has difficulty hearing. My mother said, while I was there she thought it was helping, and she seemed to hear the television better, but she didn't want to wear them to the dining room. I didn't notice any noise cancelling capabilities while I was wearing them, so wearing them to the dining room may have gotten loud. I also found them difficult to get into the charger, and my mother couldn't do that by herself either. Perhaps these would be better if some one could take care of these themselves but for an 85 year old person that is hard of hearing and has dementia these are not a good option.
