Covered grays pretty well. However, dark brown is very dark and close to black but I assume it will wash off to more brown after couple of washes but will see how it stays on. Does not cause much hair fall after washing so that was plus. I did add protein granules to the color mix for softness.

The wellla color charm dark brown hair dye was simple to use, and did a great job at covering my grays. My hair felt silky and looked so much better after its use. The hair dye works magically and it made my hair super soft and shiny. The only problem is that I thought the dark ash brown was gonna be lighter but it made my hair almost completely black. This is just the color, you will need to purchase the developer. 1:2--color:developer ratio. Pour 4oz of developer in bowl first, empty entire 2oz tube of color next. Mix at least 1 minute, apply to hair, sit 40 minutes, wash out. This hair color is absolutely fabulous and the most professional at home hair color I have ever used.
