These are a different style of water shoe than I typically go for. They are much more heavy duty in style which I'm not quite used to, but they are great quality. The soles are very thick which is one reason I wanted them. We live in an area with a lot of rough lava rock that destroys water shoe soles. I do believe these will fare much better. They can absolutely double as regular shoes if you don't feel like bringing an extra pair of footwear to the beach with you. They are comfortable for swimming and walking. True to size.

So far I have worn these shoes just going about a normal day - with socks, since I haven't found a river or a hike yet - but they will be coming on my next outing and I feel they will work fine.. I have found they offer good traction, they seem well made and feel good. They only go up to size 12 in men's sizes, it would be nice if they had larger sizes available. They have a unique sole design that identifies the individual toes, I suppose this magnifies the natural design of the foot to provide a good grip under wet and dry conditions. The inner pad is removable. Inside the shoe, under the pad, I can see stitching; but I only see glue on the outside. I suppose the stitching may be just attaching the bottom pad to the sides, unless it is somehow stitched to the rubber sole in a hidden manner - I just can't tell. My previous shoes lasted a few years through some long days on rocks and in rivers, hopefully these will last just as long or longer and the sole will not separate. The laces are tightened by a tensioner which also includes a clip on it to attach it to the bottom end of the laces - this keeps the tensioner and extra ends from flopping around - it's a nice feature.

a) Arrived well packaged and un-warped from tight packaging. b) These have an easily removed ( and added) insole. c) I tried them on inside and was amazed at how these grip the hardwood floors. I know that is not what they are designed to do, but a good sign. d) I wore them inside for quite sometime and they are relatively comfortable especially for all terrain shoes. e) I would not assume that these will be my go to shoes for a Grand Canyon or even an all day hike. I think these will serve their purpose best on the shores of Superior ,,, rocky and sometimes slippery. I take between a 10.5 and 11 shoes depending on manufacturer and style ... these ( size 11) fit nearly perfectly ...a bit snug but nothing that I couldn't handle for a couple hours. I always worry about the glue of the sole to the upper. I will report back if they let me down after a couple months of use.

These shoes are comfortable and I like the style, but I was disappointed with them. They are supposed to be beige and are closer to ivory - the photo is misleading. They also look a lot cheaper in person. I do like that they’re adjustable and can be slipped on instead of tied. They are lightweight and will be cool in summer because of the mesh sides, too.

These water/hiking shoes are really terrific. So much so that when I first got them and tried them on, I spent the rest of the day walking around in them, forgetting I had put them on! Usually, water shoes slip on like socks, but these feel more like comfortable walking shoes with a solid sole and laced up tops. The top laces took me a second to figure out as they operate a little differently than regular laces. You have to pinch the guide on the top to pull the laces, and the bottom latch connects to the bottom part of the lace closer to your toes (see photos). Once that's understood they're really easy to take on and off. Time will tell how durable these are, but I love how spacious they are for my feet with a nice wide berth at the toes. I ordered my normal 11-inch foot size and these fit exactly right. I also like the look of the shoes as they're colorful and unique without being obnoxious. The interior sole is bright white, which initially I thought was a cardboard insert. I'd imagine that would get fairly discolored over time so a darker insert would've been welcome. But that's a small nitpick on an otherwise really attractive and functional water shoe.

These water shoes are very lightweight and breathable. They go on easily and feel comfortable, though I personally wouldn't choose them for a long hike, for instance. They don't really give you the support you would need for something like that. For a day on the beach or snorkeling or even just working in the garden, I think they would be great. Mine seemed like they were large. I usually am pretty safe with a 8.5 shoe, but these felt more like 9s. Looking at them, they do look wide, and even my wide feet had plenty of room (which is good).

My wife really likes these water shoes. They’re comfortable, breathable, and lightweight, making them perfect for outdoor activities.
