I have learned to use an utensil to hold it "in" while I empty whatever I've been cooking. Outside of this issue, I love it. This air fryer is great for tofu. a little marinade and then the air fryer to crisp up the cubes and my husband is ok with tofu dishes. I LOVE it. I have also used it for the basic air fryer fare. I probably should have gone with a larger model though as I usually have to do several batches and that adds time.

I bought a GoWise air fryer and had to return it because it did not have power when it arrived. So I bought this Chefman instead. It was great because it cooks well and super fast! Super easy to clean up. Pushing the basket in worked much more smoothly than the GoWise one I struggled with to make work. This one is also slightly smaller in size (nice for counter space) even though they were both 5qt. I don’t recommend anyone buying a 2 qt bc it’s too small to even fit an entire meal for one.
