  • Works Really Well
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 6 Qt
This is a great air fryer. I purchased it as a gift and it was a big hit. It is really good quality for the price. It is also quite large which means you can use it to make several different dishes. It also has different settings which other air fryers do not always provide. It is extremely easy to use and it doesn't take forever to cook your food. I would highly recommend it. I usually use liners to help with clean up to save me some time but even if you didn't use one, it is pretty easy to clean regardless. ... show more

  • My new best friend!
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 10QT
Okay I'll say right off, maybe I should get more friends! But as a man who is a self-styled amateur chef, I have been pining for one of these types of cookers for a couple of years now. I always find a way to squeeze in one more item on the countertop. I choose this model based on reviews, features and brand name. I use my Instant Pot pressure cooker on a semi-regular basis and it is also a great cooking appliance, so I trust the brand name, and it doesn't disappoint. I first took the air fryer into the garage and ran it through a couple of cycles before using it in the kitchen. There was clearly some smell as noted elsewhere, likely from manufacturing. By the time I used it "for real" on the 3rd run, barely any smell. And by the next time...no discernable smell at all. My complaints are small, but let me get those out of the way. I wished it preheated up to temp faster. It's advertised in such a way that you think in 60 seconds, you're cooking. In my experience, it's 5+ minutes to get it to 400. Faster than an oven for sure, but not quite the blink of an eye I was hoping for. Second - the beeper is not loud enough. It beeps to tell you it's now at cooking temp, to rotate food or when food is done. For some reason, it seems louder to tell you food is done than it does to tell you the preheating is finished and to add food. You've got to be very close, so you can hear (or see) when it's up to proper temp. Since most foods are specifically timed, if you don't get your food in shortly after it heats up, it will start counting down whether there is food in it or not. Neither of these takes away from the overall 5 stars. I've had it for about 4 weeks and have tried a variety of items. I used the roast feature for skinless salmon. Amazing taste and quick. I found that 10 minutes was perfect for my fish. Others might find mine slightly overcooked, so experiment. It took about 3 tries for my fresh sweet potato fries to come out perfectly. I finally got it right at 20 minutes at 400 in the basket using the air fry function. Evenly cooked and delish. I did homemade coconut shrimp. I can't remember the exact time - it seems like 12 minutes at 380 but I'm going by memory. There are recipes out there to cross-check my memory. Again - used the air fry function. Baked potatoes were the best I've ever made at home. If you like potato skin, check this out. I rubbed them in olive oil, then lightly sprinkled sea salt, black pepper, and a blend of spices that is mostly garlic powder on the outside. These were large potatoes but I guessed and I guessed right - 400 degrees on bake setting for 50 minutes. Perfectly done inside and a nice crispy and tasty skin. You'll have to take a stab at it based on potato size. HUGE potatoes could be up to 60 minutes. Small taters - might be as low as 25 or 30 minutes. Other items I've done are quick prep items. Some frozen and breaded shrimp were perfectly done at 8 minutes at 400. Frozen tater tots same temp at 8-10 minutes. I sprayed a light coating of olive oil and salt on the tator tots. Crispy and delish. Everything so far has been easy and delicious. I have not used all functions - only bake, air fry, and broil so far. If you're on the fence and you like to cook, take the leap! 3/5/23 update: still really enjoying my air fryer. I find that it makes fish taste amazing. The dinner shown in the photo is flounder and sides. The flounder was cooked about 7 minutes using the broil function. Rubbed a bit of avocado oil, then used some fresh thyme and lemon pepper seasoning and a touch of garlic spice blend. Squeezed some lemon over the top, and broiled perfectly. I still use it, still enjoy it and continue to recommend it! ... show more

  • SO FAR - FABULOUS!
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 4 Qt
This is our 1st airfryer. After scouring a half dozen websites with their own airfryer ratings (food network, food & wine, etc.), I decided upon this one. It was consistently a top suggested product on all of these website. We have an Instantpot, which we have used with great success for years, so I felt confident purchasing their airfryer. A key standout (and unique) feature of this model is the stainless steel cooking container. I, personally, find this to be a higher quality material than plastic. So far, we've made fried paneer cheese cubes, breaded mushrooms, breaded zucchini, roasted potatoes, broccoli, green beans, Trader Joe's frozen tempura cauliflower, and a medley of sweet potato, onion and Brussel sprouts. Everything has turned out perfectly, and fast! I am confident that all of the other things we make will follow this precedent. SIZE: This particular unit was out of stock in 6qt at the time of my purchase. I was uncertain about whether the 4qt would be large enough, but once I had it in front me, it was easier to visualize. The 4qt cooks enough food for 2-3 people (ex. 3 chicken breasts or pieces of fish can easily fit). SHAPE: During my research, I saw that there are 2 main shapes of an airfryer container: 1) Tall and deep 2) Short and wide. In thinking about the foods that I intend to use this for, I like the short and wide containers because they allow foods to spread out more evenly versus being stacked. This unit is the short and wide shape, and I love it! EASE OF USE: I am familiar with the Instantpot, and the turn dial to select time, temperature, etc. functions are the same with this. It is not a complicated unit, with just a few basic buttons. And, when you set the total amount of cooking time, the unit will automatically give a beep when it is time to toss the container's content mid-way through. The container has a tray with little silicone feet that keep it in place while you dump the container's contents onto your serving dish. CLEANING: Remove the tray; clean. Wipe out the cavity. It's very simple. The people who've complained about this are likely overcooking, putting messy types of foods, or leaving it to sit too long before cleaning. SMELL: Many people noted a plastic smell while cooking. Yes, there was a little bit of an odor while cooking for the first few times of use, but I no longer smell it. COOKING: Follow the directions on the recipes and/or back of food packages with airfryer specific directions. You cannot go wrong. And, it preheats within minutes! It cooks foods so fast! DURABILITY: Our Instantpot is going strong after 10+ years. Just keep it clean and take of it; use common sense when using it. I do not anticipate we will have any problems. However, I am also realistic. Some appliances just do not last forever. UPDATE (9/28/25): We continue to enjoy this product, making a variety of different foods fast! We have not experienced any problems of any kind. We highly recommend this air fryer! ... show more

  • Rotisserie works well
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 10QT
I don't usually write reviews so I will try to be fair here. I did a rotisserie chicken for the first time using this Instant pot Air Fryer. It turned out pretty good and clean up after it cooled for a few was easy. Just wipe w/ paper towel while warm. I had spent quite some time reading up on these things. If you use it as a rotisserie then place the chicken on one of their air fryer trays to drain afterward so the chicken won't remain in the juice and will stay crispy, not soggy on the bottom. I do wish the trays weren't Teflon. I wouldn't have purchased it . I didn't think that was used anymore. I just won't use the drip/baking tray except as a drip pan and will take good care so the air fry trays will stay intact. I have only used it a few times as I just got it. I tried toasting bread and wish it had a setting for that but it did ok. Set it to bake @ 380 and put the bread in. By the time it preheats, one side is toasted. I flip the bread and then it takes 2 more minutes. It doesn't crisp evenly but the bread does get crispy which I like better than some toasters I have used. I'm going to try the air fry next. All in all it's a good value over the negatives I have read about the more expensive name brands. I hope it lasts awhile. ... show more
