Snappy MiniPC
I was originally planning to build a PC until I saw this pop up in my Amazon feed. I checked it out. The specs aren't top of the line by any means, but for a mid range PC, it definitely is a hard deal to pass up (great value for the money). It comes very nicely packaged, in cutout styrofoam to prevent it from sloshing around in the box during transport. In the box is the PC, a screwdriver, and HDMI cable, a SATA cable (if you want to add a 2.5" SSD, a small booklet that's a quick setup guide, and a RECOVERY USB stick (emphasis on recovery, don't plug in unless you need to recover your system). I opened up the case to check out what's all inside and to see ease of upgrading. It's got easy access to everything you can replace (SO-DIMM RAM x2 slots with a single 16GB stick installed, an NVME slot x2 with a single 500GB stick installed). You have the option to add a 2.5" SSD with the included cables, and the mount for it is on the cover itself. The device has RGB lighting on the front panel, and they aren't too overwhelming like some gaming PC cases. I decided not to unplug them when I had the case open as I wanted to see them in action. Like I said, not too overwhelming so I'll most likely keep them plugged in. I got this setup going with a Sceptre 24" Curved Monitor, which I ordered from here as well. So far, this PC is pretty snappy with the Core i7 and the 16GB of RAM (I'll most likely add another 16GB in the future). From off, it powers up very quickly (I didn't even get to time it) and Windows loads quickly, as well as other programs and files thanks to the NVME drive installed. The PC itself is roughly the size of a book, making it fit just about anywhere you need to put it. It's very quiet, even when the fans kick on. I definitely recommend this PC to anyone needing a new machine that doesn't break the bank, handles your everyday tasks, and you want to do some casual gaming. I don't play any of the newer high end games, so I can't say anything to the performance on that. But knowing that most newer high end games need more than what this machine offers, I wouldn't expect this machine to handle them at full display options. So don't get this if you are looking to get your child a gaming PC and expect them to be happy with it. But another thing that drew me to this PC is that it comes with Win 11 Pro 64bit. I'm going into a line of work that needs that, and was happy I found this machine! **Update** It took quite a bit of research, but it was unfortunate the exact information wasn't readily available. The motherboard used in this machine is an older generation laptop board. So, what does that mean for upgrades? You are limited on the upgrades that are compatible with the machine. For instance, it's advertised you can upgrade the machine to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. Ok, cool! What they don't warn you about is the BIOS and specific Intel Core i7 unit combo does not have the over clock ability to run faster RAM speeds. I decided to upgrade my RAM from a single 16GB to dual 16GB sticks. I'm happy I was able to take advantage of running dual channel RAM! I went with the PuSkill 32GB (2x16) 3200mHz kit. The mobo/processor combo allows for up to 2666mHz speeds, and any faster speed RAM you get, will only run at the max speed available, with no option to overclock in BIOS, so you're in my instance, my new RAM setup is only capable to running at 2400mHz. Ok, negligible speed difference (4-6% between 2666 and 2400 mHz), between what the new sticks are running at and what's the capability of the machine. But the difference between 3200 mHz (what I was hoping it would run at) and 2400 mHz (what the new RAM is capable of running at) is a 25% decrease in expectations. I still think this was a good purchase. Just wanted to let you know about the restrictions in upgrading if you plan on getting this PC and upgrading it. this pc has been great! i’ve had it for about over half a year now and it runs great :) when i first got it, i accidentally left the windows driver plugged in (noob mistake it’s my first pc) and it softlocked my entire computer, bluescreening over and over, i brought it to best buy and they fixed it for me (thank god) and it’s been working ever since! just don’t make my mistake and leave the driver plugged in lol ... show more

Had an issue 4 months after purchase. Used Amazon messaging service to sellar... it worked! A full disconnect of HDMI cable and accessories did the trick, after the hard reboot didn't. How about that? If you have an issue, they are there.

This little computer is great so far! I set it up yesterday and installed updates. It took about 45 minutes for all that. Today I turned it on and it loaded up to sign in within 15 seconds! That is pretty amazing to me, especially for the price. It runs quiet and smooth so far. I'll update again later after I get more use out of it. ... show more

Fast and cute, but some flaws.

I love the speed and it runs every game I want it to as well as running great with my programs for work. Only bad thing is the microphone input does not work, and now (5 months after purchase) my rainbow LEDs are no longer turning on.

Decent gaming PC for traveling

Updated - this is now 1 star. I bumper the power cord, and it lost power. Powered back up, no Bluetooth and no wifi. Only have a wifi mouse. Tried system restore, then got blue screen of death. Did a assembly wipe, still no Bluetooth and no wifi. This is a piece of garbage. bought this because I'm tired of dragging around a gaming laptop when I travel for work. I always connect to the hotel tvs anyway, so this seemed like a better idea. Runs most games. obviously, it will not run something like Sar Citizen, but for most games it is great. Only thing I don't like are the LED lights flashing on the front. They include directions on how to disconnect them from the motherboard, as well as directions to install another SSD inside the PC. ... show more
