After about 1 month of use the display screen started flickering while adjusting settings. Then it got to where you had to tap the screen with one hand to read the settings. Now, it will not come on at all. So disappointed in this product. Update - Contacted the company, they sent me a replacement unit. Works great/exactly as designed to do. I bought a small air fryer around Christmas because I didn't want to waste money if I didn't like it. Turns out I did like it...a lot. So I bought this one to give me some additional flexibility in cooking. This air fryer works great, is easy to clean, and the synch function is a godsend. My only quibble is that it is a little tough to adjust time and temperature. You have to hit the screen in just the right place. ...and so far, I'm impressed. BUT, and threre's always a but! I could not for the life of me get the SYNC feature to work. I set basket #1's time and temperature but there was no button lit/available for SYNC. I followed the instructions in the booklet to no avail. I can slightly see that the button could be available as there's a very faint outline of where the booklet indicates it would (if it worked). Other than that, totally enjoyed a burger and sweet potato fries this Sunday lunch (BBQ sauce with tad of honey). Yummy! Also images for regular seasoned fries and ketchup test run... pretty cool. NOTE: I don't have granite countertops, I have laminate countertops. So when using my Chefman, I sit him on top of my electric stove so when I need to pull out a basket (and pop it down for whatever reason), I can put the basket on top of the electric stove top and not worry about scorching my laminate countertop. I just WISH the SYNC function would have worked. I can see the merit in it. I LOVE the way you can have two different foods cooking in sparate baskets, especially when you have raw meat to cook... and the other has potatoes in it. ... show more

My friend had the smaller version well suited for a single person, and I was impressed by its versatility in meal prep. So I went on Amazon to view the larger versions for my family. This two drawer model looked ideal as you can prepare each drawer to your individual likes as to quantity and content, with separate cooking times, or sync cooking and/or finishing times. Now for me, being computer and direction disoriented, it was a read thrice effort, but I endured and delivered a good first time double meal. Size of meat really does matter as to cooking time when the recipe goes by ounces, so a bit of adjustment there can be handled with thermometers post cooking. However, all in all, the perfect way to avoid oil and butter frying to the healthier Air Fry method with this machine!! ... show more

From the description, this seemed like an ideal product for cooking two dishes at the same time. Right off I saw a problem. You can't set the temperature to over 400 degrees, even though the description says 450. The only way to get it up is the Hi-fry button, which is invisible. I've pushed every square centimeter of the surface and can't get it to come on. Once I saw it 3/4 of the way through cooking, too late to get a good sear. When I called customer support I was told the lights don't come on until certain times of the cycle. What is the good of that? Only at the last minute can you see an add two minutes option light up. The shake does come on, but there isn't a sound for it so you have to watch for it. It is like caring for an infant. My roasted vegetables were mushy and not very brown. ... show more
