Love it. Air fried, bakes, reheats, etc. I bought the 10 quart for 4 people in our house. Larger 2 drawers. Can air fry in one side and bake on the other at different temps at the same time. It can be programed for "smart cook" or "match cook" so both sides will be finished at once. I clean it thoroughly once a week as food drops down into pan below. I absolutely love this Ninja air fryer. It is incredibly versatile, easy to use, and everything I’ve made in it has come out great. I’ve used it for potatoes, chicken, reheating food, and more, and I’m honestly impressed every time. The controls are simple, having two separate baskets is extremely convenient, and cleanup is much easier than cooking everything in the oven or on the stove. The food cooks quickly and evenly, and the results are fantastic. I just made drumsticks in it and they were some of the juiciest, most flavorful drumsticks I’ve ever had, with perfectly cooked skin on the outside. This has quickly become one of my favorite appliances in the kitchen. This 10Qt NinjaDZ550 Foodi Air Fryer is so good, I bought two of them! So if you have never used an air fryer, you need to understand what they are. They are basically just a small oven with a fan - like a convection oven. Because of the smaller space for food and the design that lets the hot air be blown on all sides of the food (including the bottom), food cooks faster and browns better and stays crispy. They are perfect for cooking frozen foods like frozen French fries, mozzerella sticks, chicken nuggets, egg rolls, etc. so air fryers are awesome for households with teens and college students. They can make their own food in the middle of the night without bothering people or heating up the kitchen. This particular air fryer has two drawers so you can cook two different foods at the same time! It also has a temperature probe that allows you to monitor the internal temp of the food in one drawer. And the best feature is that you can set the cooking temperature and cooking time for each drawer and then press Smart Finish and it will adjust so that both foods are finished at the same time! Beyond that, each drawer holds 5Qts of food so this is a true, family size, air fryer. I have two college kids still at home and they often cook very late at night. They both LOVE this air fryer because it's easy to set and to clean and it's quiet and will even cook a steak or pork chop or chicken breast with ease. I bought silicone baskets for the drawers so clean up is so easy that the kids actually do it. Just take the basket out and wash it under the sink or in the dishwasher. If you have never used an air fryer, just remember that it's a small oven and can do anything you can do in an oven. Even bake! I bought a couple of air fryer books with recipes to get me started and they are super helpful. You will get the hang.of it pretty quickly. My.husband and I are old and honestly, this is great for us, too. I like reheating things in this as well as making a meal for just the two of us. I've had this thing for 3 years now and it's still easily the single most valuable kitchen appliance I've ever bought as far as total time saved. I mainly use it for meat & homestyle fries and they're cooked to perfection every time while allowing me to do chores, exercise, or just relax without having to worry about the house burning down. Top notch air fryer! We switched from a single basket and it makes cooking very convenient. The match cook and smart cook timing so that both baskets end together is very nice for busy evenings. We have had no issues with the quality of cooking. The baskets are very easy to clean.

Nice product that has exceeded expectations. One thing that sets this apart from other types of counter top gizmos is the ability to find recipes and cooking times, a major problem with other products. Simply go to your favorite search engine (particularly in AI mode) and ask for the time and temp by model (DZ550). Very easy and practical! The fryer is completely oil free, but high heat oils can be brushed on to give a crispy texture. My only frustration with the product is that the non stick coating started coming off as soon as my first use. This is why 4 stars and not the full 5. ... show more

I was skeptical having had one of the first versions of the instant pot airfryer add-on top. It had to preheat, could fit little food and things weren’t any crispier than I could get in my oven. That is not the case with this Ninja! Things I wish I knew; requires no pre-heat. Starts cooking right away. Food gets crispy just like a real fryer. Yes, you can taste the difference because you use so much less oil, but it still tastes great. Fast cooking time! Noise level as expected. Quieter than my oven. Cool down lasts only 30 seconds or so then the fan turns off. For everyone out there wondering how well it works on Dino nuggets 10 mins total from frozen to crispy. Also, 10 mins total for home made raw chicken nuggets to done and crispy. I have the thermometer version and tested out a fairly thick NY Steak. 15 mins to internal temp of 125 degrees. (See pic. I consider the pic medium not medium rare according to instructions). Was it good? Yes. Do I like it from the bbq or other cooking method better? Yes, but I definitely wouldn’t turn it down. Bacon? Not so much. It curled up on itself and all the fat drained off. I prefer old oven method where it basically fries in its own fat. But if you are looking for way less fat bacon (dry) then this method is for you. Basket/drawer is coated metal (handle is plastic), tray is coated metal. Both are extremely nonstick and clean easily. The inside tray did not fall out when dumping food on plate. I would buy again and will be using frequently. ... show more
