I was very hesitant to buy this due to the mixed reviews, but I am glad I did. At a glance, this bench is a Power Systems Three-Way copy for 1/8th of the money. People are claiming this bench is 1) wobbly 2) not straight 3) poor quality. The bench I got doesn’t reflect any of that. I used an impact to assemble mine and it’s rock solid with no wobble. The cushions you need to align before you tighten them down, which I think some people in these reviews were not doing. The quality of the welds admittedly are not pretty in some spots, but they’re functional and the little plastic wheels definitely won’t hold up. Other than that, this bench almost feels like a commercial bench. For people worried about lifting heavier weight, the 500lbs capacity seems conservative. I did 420lb total load (weight and user) and it didn’t flex, wobble or budge. Very sturdy. Great bench for the money.

Assembly wasn't too difficult. Visible rust where some welding wears off. I spent 30 minutes flipping the base side to side getting metal shavings out of it. Built sturdy, I'm not doing anything crazy on it but it's definitely a budget bench. 1 of the strips on the base were stripped but I managed to tighten it. The loosen to adjust feature is awkward to me and doesn't feel right. Update: made this a 4 out of 5 stars from a 3 star. This is a great budget bench, I was wrong for giving it a 3 star.

As other reviews have stated the quality and craftsmanship of this product is poor. The product was packaged well but I immediately knew that I was porked as soon as I picked up the bench frame and heard steel shavings tumbling around the inside of the frame. Some poor guy before me must've already gave this bench a go and ultimately met his demise of stripped bolts. I kept positive and got to assembly and didn't even get past the first step before hitting a major problem. One of the predrilled holes in the frame that connects the bottom support rail was set at the wrong pitch. As you can see by my photos one of the mounting bolts is severely off center. It's so bad that I wasn't able to assemble the bench. I could try to use a step drill bit to widen the holes in the support rail or drill the hole out and retap it but why should I have to do the manufacturers job? As a consumer that paid $150 for a simple weight bench I expect to have no issues assembling it and to be done in no more than an hour. Is that too much to ask for CAP? Apparently so because you have consumer after consumer on here calling you out for the poor quality of your merchandise. You should really consider getting into a different market because apparently you suck at building weight benches.

A great value for the money! Have pushed this bench pretty hard (total weight including me 450+) on the flat setting. Much better quality than other budget benches sold on Amazon. I do wish they included rubberized feet to prevent the bench from sliding around, though I remedied this with stick on rubber pads. Very easy to adjust and I like the seat also adjusts for performing incline presses. A must have for a budget home gym especially if you looking for affordable equipment that gets the job done without compromising safety or quality!

Good enough for a home gym. All the parts fit together for an easy assembly. The pad adjustment had a positive lock with a screw and latch mechanism. The bench was balanced.. The feet are thin sheet metal, be careful tightening the bolts that attach them. There are no washers provided for that section so it will easily dimple in. The padding cover feels really thin and feels like it will probably rip easily. It was loose on mine (picture included). There was rust on the seat adjustment guide and the chrome plating was peeling off.

Easy to understand instructions, sturdy when doing Overhead presses and various exercises. It's heavy, but I consider that a good thing. The adjustable positions feel secure. Some of the welds look a little off and still had flux on them but overall the look reliable enough (I'll update if that ever changes). It did come with what appears to be cat prints on it which was weird, idk if the unit was returned or if they have felines roaming the facility, either way it dont bother me.
