This is a terrific bench for a great price. The bench part works great for such a reasonable price. I use this bench entirely for bench press and to hold weights between shrugs/other upper body exercise. It is very lightweight and easy to set up. It lives outside on my upstairs deck so I can get some fresh air while exercising. However, I'm not sure I'd ever really use it for squats. While I guess it could hold a bar in the stored away set-up, it seems that it might be a bit stable and there isn't much room for an unsteady step back before hitting the pad.

Was looking for an inexpensive weight bench for my son to start lifting. Checked local stores an CL and couldn’t find anything decent under $100. Searched Amazon and found this one. The price was right with free prime shipping so, I took a chance. It arrived in one undamaged heavy duty reinforced box. I decided to let my 13 year old put it together. With a little guidance it went together pretty smoothly. It even came with the tools required to assemble. The instructions weren’t bad but, not perfect. There were no missing parts and he had the whole thing assembled in under a half hour. The finished product is sturdy and looks really nice. The steel tubing is pretty heavy gauge and the paint is good quality. The bench is well padded and the cover seems like it will be durable. It folds up nicely and it should last a while. The only negative comment he had was that the supports seem to be a bit close together. A little narrower than the width of his shoulders so, right about where he feels his hands should be. Should be fine as he grows though. Overall, a good quality first bench at a good price.

This weight bench is very adequate for entry level weight lifting. Assembly was not difficult and took me around 1 hour or so. I assembled the bench both from the instruction booklet (viewing the diagrams) and using common sense and experience. The two tools provided were also adequate. The instructions call for crescent wrenches, a hammer and two screw drivers. 1 flat tip and 1 phillips. Not necessary for me to assemble mine. Although the bench describes multiple height adjustments I would recommend just finding your specific needs and stick to that. This bench is stable enough for bench press and inclined sit-ups but in my opinion frequent adjustments will only shorten the life of the bench. I feel that making changes would make this unit wobbly and less stable. This is after all an entry level work out press. Buy a more expensive unit if you want to make frequent adjustments. I'm happy with mine as I'm only using a 110 lb. barbell set and am looking to strengthen and tone NOT enter competitions. The bench does fold up to conserve space when not in use however the quick release pin hole is very large (oblong) so that too is lacking in security when the bench is folded upward. I myself wouldn't trust it completely. Use caution around children and pets. I'd suggest a bungee cord to wrap around the bench instead of depending on the quick release pin. My bench arrived in a cardboard box roughly the size of a bottom dresser drawer. Everything was well packed and nothing was damaged or missing.

Absolutely garbage. Do not buy this product. They can't even give you proper instructions, they are so bare minimum to the point to where you can't even see or tell what part you're supposed to be using, nor is anything at all labeled. You will spend hours just undoing bolts. Absolute waste of money and your time. They should be paying you to do this.

The bench arrived well packaged. All parts were there. It took me a couple of hours to put it together. The manual has decent instructions how to put it together. The only thing that it would make it better if the bolts, nuts and washers were maybe separated or packaged in a one of those bubble packages. They were all together in one bag and it took me some time to separate and understand which one is which. I am attaching an image of them with markings so hopefully it will help save you some time. I would also use your own ranch rather than using the one included in the package. Overall, it's good for the price and pretty steady unless you're planning on benching really heavy weights and then I would definitely go with something else.

It’s okay the instructions suck took me forever to figure out which screw went where had to keep checking everyone over and over and I feel like it’s a little wobbly there maybe 2 pieces missing case I had to use a screw on a place I know it doesn’t go another seems like it would need a screw anyways I got the product fast an affordable place so it’s good enough those instructions and pieces need to be labeled better cause dam had me cussing like a sailor what should’ve took 15 maybe 20 mins to install took an hour and you need your own tools cause the Allen wrench won’t do the job tightening on top of that had to buy a $50 bar

This is an excellent bench for starting out. Many reviews stated it was difficult to assemble but all of the screws only fit the holes they are designated for. The only large diameter screw that is a different length is for the second step and it has 2 smaller washers whereas the other large diameter screws have a large and small washer. That's the only area I could really see causing any hold-ups. It took about 35 minutes to assemble since I had to remove the aforementioned screw from the wrong hole and replace it with the correct length. All in all it works very well albeit very basic and lacking some higher end options but for what I paid for it I'm perfectly content and I'm sure it'll last me until I need to upgrade in the future.
