Welds aren't perfect and there are places left unwelded that could add strength to the bench. Padding isn't as good as some but its not a bad bench for 118 + tax. I wouldn't recommend you pay more than what I did for this bench. It does have some good features that the $300 benches have. If you weigh over 250-275, I would recommend looking for something much stronger because you will be very limited with the 500 pound max rating on this one.

Good cheap bench. It does stand up vertical on an end on its own which is nice. How to make it sturdier and not wobble: The bolts they include for the seat and back are much to small in diameter for the hole and bushing or spacer. That that bushing (little Grey spacer thing that goes in the seat and back) to the hardware store along with the provided bolt and get the same length bolt but get the biggest size that fits in that bushing. Mine had almost no play or jiggle to it. Once I swapped those bolts out the bench was solid as a rock. Also crank that joint tight, the bushings turn on the bolt so bend make it as tight as possible while still letting the pad move semi freely.

I bought a cheap squat rack and the quality of that is what I expected for the money. I wanted a nicer bench, however, as it has more of an affect on how you lift than metal tubing that holds weight. So I went with a brand name like CAP Barbell. Years ago, they were the standard for quality. I had older CAP weights, benches, racks, etc... they all met my expectations. This bench, however, feels like most fallen off companies who resort to pinching pennies to sell their items at Walmart. Several parts are welded poorly and just enough to keep them on there. Many of the pieces also look like they were cut out with an angle grinder free hand. I have a plasma CNC and this was definitely not cut by a machine. You could cut yourself on some of the ends. It's sad that this has the CAP name attached to it. The welds also have rust on them already and I just opened the box. The base metal seems too thin, but good enough for our home gym. I wish they put rubber or something on the bottom feet / legs so it doesn't damage our flooring. I guess I just assumed something like this would come with that. Seeing the quality in person, I should've gotten a cheaper, no name Chinese brand, or spent more money. I didn't want to deal with returning this and ordering another, but if I had to do it again, I'd get something else.

This is not quite commercial quality, but for the price I don't expect that. Assembly was fairly easy. The handle and wheels are nice to have, to help you move the bench around a room. It's very sturdy and acceptably comfortable padding, not a huge amount of padding, but enough that it's fine. I upgraded from a flat Cap bench to this, and what an improvement with the incline!

The media could not be loaded. For the price it's not that bad, but it does wobble, where my other bench wouldn't. The top back rest also looks like it slightly Slanted to the left.

I don't know what all the negative complaints are about this bench works great very sturdy looks good the only complaint is the top backboard seems to lean to the right and if they can send me a replacement I will be very happy
