Worked perfectly on the old, salt-encrusted, leaking mess of spuds on two American Standard urinals (see photos). The hardest part of the job was safely getting off the old ones without breaking the porcelain. Hint: I had to saw and dig out the old rubber gasket that was hardened. Installing the new one was a snap. I don't have a spud wrench, but used the back end of a tool to hold the inside while tightening. Once the brass engaged the rubber gasket, tightening didn't need the spud wrench since I made sure the porcelain was dry and the rubber engaged a good tight seal. Easy, works great, no leaks, and the thread worked perfectly with a new plastic trap and slip nut. ... show more
