  • Good quality patio umbrellas
The media could not be loaded. It’s so easy to assemble, only few screws to tighten the legs. Very good quality, the adjustments is easy too, my little girl can do it. It’s very smooth and easy adjust. Need a paving stone and sand bags for holding the legs. Good buy so far

  • Nice looking, functional, but not well made, strong or sturdy
Size: 10ft Color: Beige
I like the look and functionality, but this is not going to last. The crank handle was held on with a screw barely holding it on and it came out and the handle came off while assembling the umbrella. I had to replace the screw with a slightly longer one to get the crank to hold together and work right and I only had one that fit, because I save screws from everything over my life, but still needed 2 washers to take up the space because the screw I used was just that much too long - otherwise would have had to make a trip to the hardware store. Just know that the crank assembly(inside) is the most idiotic and easy to fail design they could have come up with. If it fails the umbrella crank becomes unusable and would have to be manually opened and closed and held in position with something like wiring. The stands are too short for this umbrella and should be a good 4" longer for better leverage securing. Just for safety and to keep it from blowing into the pool, I am using 240lbs total weight of sand bags to secure it. When a soft breeze blows it torques the cantilever assembly at the top of the main pole very easily in a twisting motion. The assembly is not sturdy enough with the plastic to last or keep from breaking from a normal gust of wind especially from the wrong direction. I don't know if I can come up with a hardware rig to fix that if it breaks. By the lift handle there is a plastic sleeve that slides up and secures the metal bracket for extending the cantilever pole of the umbrella to secure a bracket pivot point. It's just plastic and even has a warning label on it that it can break and it is under a lot of stress to secure the bracket at the pivot point. If it breaks it can probably be secured with a couple of hose clamp type metal rings, that slide on and off like the plastic handle. I don't feel that a $120 price is justified for the flimsiness, lack of durability, and design problems. Would have returned but that would be a hassle, options are limited and I would rather just try to make it work at this point. UPDATE: The base stand feet are long enough but they proved to not be strong enough. With all of the aforementioned sandbag weight on them, a gust of wind blew the umbrella and it bent the weaker base arm, which is the one that comes underneath the other and is thinner in the center. I bent it back with some work but have yet to figure out a way to reinforce it with metal or anything to keep that from folding again. The metal actually partly tore there. You would not think it would bend that way but even the thicker main piece that the bolt goes through on top bent also because it may look heavy but it is just aluminum, not steel, and I easily bent that back straight also with just a pair of pliers. ... show more

  • Too Weak, Made of Weak Plastic - Do not buy!
Size: 10ft Color: Beige
Not worth the money. Its easy to assemble and does the job of hiding the sun, but it’s cheaper than others out there for a reason. It’s made of plastic so it doesn’t lock well at all! In fact, after a little less than a week of owning it, it won’t stop spinning with the wind so light wind keeps making it rotate all the time and smack into surrounding items, like our fence. The plastic is too weak to hold the umbrella. I don’t see how this would last more than a year - don’t waste your money like we did! ... show more

  • Thought it was decent. But it wasn’t
Thought this umbrella would be great for my back yard. Unfortunately we get a fair amount of wind up to 10mph and this thing simply cannot handle it. Yesterday after only having 2 months (and only using 3 times during that time!) the arm got bent when a big gust of wind took it and shoved it into the house, knocking the umbrella out of alignment with the arm. We had 4 16” paver stones as a weight as well as 3 2ft bags of mulch, and it still couldn’t stabilize with the wind gusts, ultimately ruining the arm. It still works for now, but I don’t see this umbrella lasting me through the summer. Will NOT buy again. Would prefer something much more sturdy (read: doesn’t swing around in the wind). ... show more

  • Not as pleased as I expected to be
Size: 10ft Color: Navy
I just received this umbrella. I didn’t come with any directions enclosed in the box. We figured it out easily enough, however I’m not seeing how it’s ‘adjustable’ as indicated in the product description. It’s open or closed and when it’s open it’s blowing all over- even in a light breeze. It looks good and cranks open easily, but not happy with the movement despite having it secured very well. ... show more

  • Doesn't stand
Size: 10ft Color: Beige
The pictures show parts for the base that aren't included. Full extended, the umbrella doesn't stand on it's own I am going to have to drill the base into my deck to get this to stand up. This is not what I had in mind.

  • Solid materials. High quality.
I bought this umbrella for my sister in Northern Cali to give her a chance to enjoy her patio more. The delivery came on time and the assembly was a 3 step process. There was no real issue with setting it up but I did have to use a pair of pliers to help assemble the base. Other than that, I put down some pavers to hold the base level and purchased the water filled base tubs for stability. The umbrella itself is very high quality and seems very weather ready. But the tbd thing that sets this product apart is the articulating arm that allows you to tilt the umbrella to block the sun. The design is very clever and the cranks and joints are solid. I saw a similar umbrella at Hone Depot for 289.00 and it didn’t look as sturdy. Note: When the umbrella is down and stowed, make sure to strap it to the pole base with the Velcro tie if you live in a windy area like we do. All in all, this is a product we will keep. ... show more
