I've had this battery for about one month now and it's working great. This was installed to replace the Odyssey PC680 that I had fail twice in one year. This is installed in an Audi TT 1.8L turbo vehicle that needed a battery half the size of the original. The Odyssey battery was weak when it came to starting the car and I had to carry a jumper box to start the car if it sat for a few days. This XS Power battery has survived zero degree temperatures in a. car that sits for days without any problems. Time will tell how long this battery will last, but in the first month it's been a lot better than the Odyssey PC680 that I was using. ... show more

Worked fine for 2 months...now it is bulging outthe side and i fear it may explode. Literally. And I only found that because it is NOT HOLDING A CHARGE anymore. And I dont even drive this car often enough to explain it being over used or anything. I actually bare drive it.

    • Not all race cars need trunk mounted battery set up.
Works great. Turns over my slightly higher than stock 6.0 gm ls engine no problem. Took weight off like 38 pounds. The reduced size allowed me the mount it closer to the fire firewall to hell move the weight back also. I had a trunk mounted battery but the longer cable's and a cut off switch externally mounted is now gone. Should have done this sooner. ... show more

Not worth it. Battery came with 10.2v and doesn’t hold a charge. Tried different charging methods none work. Out in car and drove around for a little over an hour and parked car voltage dropped instantly when disconnected from main battery. I tried contacting the seller to mail this back and they are making me pay 90$ for shipping. On top of only getting half the refund. While denying to send me a new one. cranks my jeep diesel. half the size as the OEM that was boarder line. i am putting this on my polaris due to the size foot print. i know it will spin it where the OEM battery is almost limited. I am getting a group 3400 XS POWER for the jeep.

    • Waste of time and money...
I had to replace a battery in a very small car. Had heard that AGM was the way to go, would last a lot longer. - UPDATE: Called XS power help line, and they stated that they cannot honor the warranty as Amazon sellers are not authorized dealers. They don't know where the stock came from, it could be "B" grade. There is a 2-year warranty card in the box. Don't count on that, expect 30 days coverage, or you better buy the extended warranty. My battery lasted ~ 8 months. - Read many of the reviews on here, many warnings, but went ahead and ordered an S680. - When it arrived, there was a small amount of fluid in the box. Read online that this sometimes happens. - Fast forward 8 months, and the battery has run down a few times, and won't take much of a charge. - Now 11 months later, the battery has to be replaced. It won't hold a charge at all. - I inquired with the seller about a warranty replacement, they can't identify the order number. Not sure if its them or Amazon that sold it, seller indicates to contact Amazon (?). ... show more
