Great fire starter. Many of the sticks are larger than needed, I use a small axe to chop them smaller. This adds more value as it gives me more starter wood. Some of the sticks can be cut a few times. Easily catch on fire on both ends and last long enough to catch firewood on fire.

Great product, reasonable price. In the wood stove, use a couple pieces in place of paper/kindling, torch to ignite, and it burns long enough to get the bigger fuel going. Too easy, it’s a staple next to my stove now.

Works as advertised. One or two sticks get the fire started. Combine that with shredded junkmail paper and some laundry lint, and you have a great fire starter. Works extremely well with the grate wall of fire grate and backer plate. Really reflects the heat into the room.

I’m between three and four stars on this one, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. They smell great, they’re easy to handle, you don’t get any splinters off of them, but at least in my box not all of them will light, and that is irritating. Not sure what the problem is, I brought the box inside as soon as I got it and put it by my fireplace and now with the cold snap, I was really hoping they would be a quick source of heat… Some are and some are not.

These are fantastic for lighting fires! I use about three to four with each fire, so the box of wood burns through quickly. The wood burns long enough to be able to light the big pieces of wood. The wood seems like it’s a good quality and fairly good value for the money.
